  1. Make offers
  2. Flw apparently announced that they aren’t making any adjustments other than raising entries and lowering payout.
  3. That is supposedly going to change in 2020 I think.
  4. I have several of these (6 1016’s and 2 ballistics I think) in different gear ratios and condition. One has a steez 103 type r spool. I’m asking $90 obo for the 1016’s and $60 for the ballistics. If you’re interested pm me your number and I’ll text pics of the ones you want. They’re well used and work great. Some are 7-8/10 and some are 5-6/10. Trades I’d be interested in are lefty Shimanos and possibly spinning reels in the 2000-3000 size range. Just pm me if you have an offer or questions. I’ve had these a few years and imo they’re the most underrated Daiwa reels. They pitch great but have enough capacity to be a great all around reel. I’m on a Shimano kick right now so I might as well let someone else put them to work. Make offers on these
  5. I fished a couple MLF format tournaments this year. Check out Podunkers on facebook. It definitely changes your mindset from the traditional format.
  6. I’m pretty sure neither tour will
  7. An interesting review with Edwin Evers on this podcast. https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/bass-talk-live/id620040765?mt=2&i=1000419679455
  8. Thanks all! I couldn’t remember what it was like since it’s been years and I always use Shell Knob. I’d prefer to launch at Indian but it’s 15 more minutes for me basically since I’m coming from the north. Still worth it if I don’t run toward Campbell Point. In a nut shell my two boys and I are trying to decide on a lake to really dedicate our time to. We get to the eagle rock end a handful of times a year but the rest is grand or stockton. Anyway I’m trying to weigh my options since we’re in the middle of several lakes and they each have something special to offer. What I really wish was that I could leave my boat in the Shell Knob area to keep from hauling it every weekend. First world problems.
  9. Is this a decent ramp? I’ve put in there before but it’s but over 10 years I bet.
  10. Sold
  11. Use the whole tomato and worm combo
  12. 6.3:1 ratio $95
  13. If we weren’t an hour apart I’d get it fixed for you. Or try anyway.
  14. Let me tell you a tale based on a true story... Once upon a time Costa made sunglasses. And they were the best freaking glasses you could get. The End
  15. Buddy! Something we see eye to eye on lol! Ive always wondered why one of the cleanest ways of power generation is ignored by the bunny huggers. I know there’s property loss and that sucks but there are definitely a slew of benefits. I’ll also admit I’m a complete hypocrite when it comes to “growing the sport.”
  16. I dingered my prop so I’m looking for a replacement while it’s getting fixed. I run a 25p tempest but would also be interested in a trophy. Maybe a fury but they’re generally more expensive. I live in Carthage but will be in Springfield this evening.
  17. Nice solid fish. My favorite lake for strictly fishing.
  18. From now on if they look like that we will just take your word for it. No pics needed.
  19. I’ll back champ up on the costa comment. The lens clarity is excellent and I use the polycarbonate lenses. I doubt glass would survive my clumsiness. Anyway there is a noticeable difference in clarity and distortion going from costas to inexpensive glasses. The initial purchase stinks but it averages out to about $40 a year or so probably
  20. I just skimmed this but for easy math on metric to standard measurements take the metric number and divide by 25.4 and you have the standard/inches equivalent. 10mm/25.4= .3937” .3mm/25.4= .0118” Maybe it was covered already but I just thought I’d throw it out there to help some wrap their mind around metric line diameters.
  21. Oops I guess I missed the jig head part. Makes sense.
  22. Great report! I know you’ll get a bunch of recommendations but I wanted to suggest trying the Owner Rig’n hook. My very most favorite hook and especially for big bodied plastics like a tube. For all I know you’re already using it but it works great for me.
  23. I love having side imaging up front but yes you have to be moving. I’d switch and try to get another si unit up front later. You can can manually transfer your waypoints. Losing the lakemaster at the wheel would be a bummer but from what I understand Garmin has pretty good mapping.
  24. As of a few weeks ago yes. We saw some nice ones in the backs of pockets. They've always been perch to me too.
