  1. have used them for several years work very well seldom deep hook those you through back good luck
  2. i have seen lately severaln of the tournaments are banning the a rig could someone explain why if all can use it is not allowed
  3. just a thought next door neighbor had similar problem with injected omc tank low or empty sensor was bad thought ol res was low or empty when it was not replaced sensor bing go just a thought
  4. just a thought on your boat if you have a family kids etc you might think about a deeper hull boat ie lund bass trackers deep v there are several makes that are great for family use and to fish out of i am partial to lund and they can be bought resonable during this time of the year usually lighter per length and handle any water good luck on whatever be sure and test a used one
  5. thanks for the info have gone out in the baxter area in the last three hours of the day have had prettyt good luck with 3/8 football jig pbj with some type of dark green triler from 2ft out to 10 real real real slow also using shakey head with watermelon red centipere catching 10 to 15 most eve have seen no to very few shad in coves and bays only large schools of big gizzard shad no threadfin as of yet good luck to all

  7. had younger brother in from indiana fished wed eve thurs friday sat am til noon out agtain 3 till dark three days we allways bet on first biggest and most so keep close tabs on these things caught 20 to 30 each day three to four keeps each day couple of real nice smallies several shorts 90 percent of fish came on crig with four inch watermelon red centipede and shakey hed with pumpkin 4 inch worm slow tolling or wind driven drift in 23 to 25 foot on a real slow tapering small rock bank not flats about halph way backn in the bigger bays at times we were allmost sitting whAT looked to be in the niddle of the cove to stay in that depth range on such a graduall slope fish were locked on the bottom hardly any shad to be seen on locater water temp 62 fished some in tail ends of bays not much luck seem to be a largezard shad but very few threadfin not much luck

  10. after all that about kvd has any one done any good on the rock last couple days beeen flat on the old back could not get out and younger brother coming from indiana next week help would be gratefull just some ideas thanks again for all the great info on this site
  11. i agree that bill does not need the money so you could send it to me i am sure bill would not mind since he did ask me once when he was fishing my dock up by baxter if my grman shorthair was a good bird dog and i told him she was excellent so that should qualify me above most of you thanks bill for all the great reports and the time you showed my brother and i how to jerk bait fish with water crashing over the bow
  12. fished the tournament this weekend did not come close to the average winningf weight BUT ther is a reason my partner (the other old poop) had to get his oxygen bottle filled twice his depends changed a few times two shots of geratal and a short two hour nap did not leave a lot of time on the water add to that he lost a rod and reel some time during the day and did not realize it till we came in sunday just curious if any one knows what area the bigger fish were coming from and what they were being caught on you can tell us because we also have a lot of memory lapses
  13. nancy have been trapping for last three to four weeks getting around 15 to 20 per day am in baxter area beleive it will pick up soon just not real strong yet good luck have had best luck with cut bream
  14. great advice would realy agree on the get a guide theory best bang for your buck to ramp up your confidence and knowledge on the lake learned more on the jerk bait in a short day with mr babler tnen i did on my own in months make that years question any wake baits that work better out of the box tnen the roughe realy do not want to go through 200 to get a good one thanks again for all the help

  16. while you are on the repair topic HELP horn will not work on boat removed hooked to jump box works fine checked and have 12 volts to leads when unhooked from horn when hooked to horn and deflect horn switch volt meter says 6 volts and all the horn does is go clunk confused to say the least
  17. just a note from one who worked at the kc store for 3 years plus if it any thing like it i think you will be amazed at the customer service once they get there feet on the ground and go through a few not so good new hires great place to work and the employee discount is nuts
  18. have been watching several male and females behind my dock for last few weeks all have come and gone have seen none for last few days or week have caught several out in ten to fifteen shakey head jig c rig seem to be holding in these depth pretty faithfully good luck water seems awfully stained for this time of year not sure why
  19. great report thanks for taking the time fyi folks have been putting out crayfish traps last week or so starting to get a few each day showed one to one of the guys fishing the flw tour he was shocked at the size thought it was a lobster lol will only get better you need to try this

  23. used to live in lost bridge villabe a few years ag o now on table rock enjoy your reports and would like to run over and give the stripers a try again are you using threadfin or gizzard shad has the top water bite coming on yet thanks again for all the info
