I seldom keep a LM, SM, or KY bass, but if I did and someone started giving me hell about it, I'd send them right to the nearest tournament weigh-in. A single dedicated tournament angler does 10x the damage to the bass population than a whole family of catch & eaters. There's a study still going on right now in Oklahoma and Texas that proves it 100%.......and it is being purposely ignored.

Explain the difference between a noun and a verb.... "Hump" is a noun, meaning the thing on the back of a camel. Unless that thing is another camel....in which case, it's a verb.

No surprise. I'm quite capable myself. What is surprising is that the use of a few choice words could possibly ruin a person's day, or make opinions or thoughts invalid. Churches, Courtrooms, and any other place where someone with self-proclaimed authority is wearing a robe......are places where it isn't acceptable to verbally express yourself freely. Foam spiders in a size #10 are a staple. Something about the way they "plop" down. Typically you don't even need to twitch or animate it at all. Just throw it in there and wait about 10 seconds.

Probably has to do with where the HP (torque) is measured from. Outboard HP is measured at the propshaft. There's no propshaft on a snowmobile. 😅

I never said anyone did. I don't even drive my vehicle for hours at a time. But if I drove it at 5k+ RPM everywhere I went, there'd likely be engine problems. That was the point I was attempting to make.

You're kidding, right? Fuel cap seals with a rubber O-rings or rubber gasket. Fuel contacts rubber before it even reaches your fuel tank (fuel fill nozzle to tank is rubber hose). The fuel pump itself has rubber in it. The Fuel pressure regulator contains rubber. Fuel Injectors have rubber seals inside them, and rubber O-rings that seal them into place. The schrader valves for testing fuel pressure have rubber within them. Pretty impossible to have a fuel system, whether carbureted or EFI/DFI without using rubber compounds.

4000 extra RPM, no Cat. Converter, lake water for cooling, and lots of aluminum and plastic in order to keep weight down. Run your truck at 5-6k RPM on poor quality fuel for a few days and see how long before it leaves you stranded. 😎 Most people don't realize that outboard motors are very near the top of the list when it comes to "High Performance" engines.

Old gasoline is typically cloudy, has lost its transparency, and smells a bit like paint thinner or terpentine. The shelf life of old school gas was about a year, or even more if it was sealed up tight. Old ethanol blended fuel will usually have a brownish (ice tea) tint, and will smell of aerosol. Shelf life is less than 4 months even if it's in a sealed container. Computer controlled EFI/DFI outboards will seem to run ok on crappy aged fuel BUT because of the slower burn the engine will run hotter. The slower the fuel burns the longer the length of time that there is active fire inside the motor. During the summer months I get Mercury EFI''s and Optimax's in for water pump service all the time...... Nothing at all wrong with the water pump, but the warm lake water combined with aged (slow burning) fuel, and a BLACK cowling caused the overheat horn to go off. I used to try to explain that to people....but after so many times of them just standing there looking at me like a spider had just crawled out of my mouth, I now just install a new water pump, take their money, and keep my mouth shut. 😅 All they know is.....Motor got hot/must need a water pump! And hey, I've got kids in college that burn through money like marshmallows at a campfire......so bygod if somebody wants a new water pump, they get one! 👍

I took my helper out this evening, and got his cherry broke with a mess of little males. Once he was in a groove and having fun I wandered off looking for some bigger ones. Found some 😁

I used to say that it didn't exist, as everyone who claimed to ONLY buy ethanol-free fuel, had 5-10% alcohol in their fuel tank when tested. Now I finally get brought in a boat that truly has fuel with zero alcohol percentage......and the motor won't run right on it. The stuff won't even kill weeds. Not sure what to make of that. 🤷‍♂️

I wanna say that the best period is going to be around the next full moon. I kept my 10 best ones yesterday, and there wasn't a single female in the bunch.

I don't notice any benefit to premium fuel, and there may be an actual hindrance because it's likely a bit more aged than the regular fuel available at the same pump. But if the motor runs good on it, and you don't mind spending the extra money...... 👍
