Nothing seems to "push water" like deer hair. I've tried the wool and Lazer dub heads and they just don't make the magic happen for me. Once deer hair is good and soaked it gets down just fine. I use the hair from the base of a bucktail for streamers 👍

Cool ! 👍 I might actually start oversizing my wing like you did. It will make it even easier to see, and likely won't hurt anything. You might dip one in water just to make sure the white band doesn't "go dark". That separation in the body is a critical thing (I think). I've had to add more wraps of white on several of mine. That's why I use thread instead of floss (white floss tends to go transparent when it gets wet). I'm happy that you're trying it. Hope it's as good to you as it is to us. 🙂

Did you swap the injectors out yourself, or did an authorized dealer do it ? Replacement injectors have to be paired with the ECM using Evinrude software, so even merely swapping their position will screw things up. When spark plugs were changed were they marked and referenced so that the gap aligned with the injector nozzle ? Pretty important. You mentioned "carbs" 🤔 There aren't any carbs. You say that you replaced both injectors and the fuel pump???.....Man! Holy Mother of Bank Accounts!!!! You've really dumped some serious coin, hu ? People always buy way more boat than they need. If they didn't then the expense to own it wouldn't even be a thing. Seems that the majority believe that bass fishing can only be done from a 20k+ boat with 10k worth of electronics on it. The crappie and catfish guys are even starting to live that way. Spoonbill snaggers are lined up to spend big coin to install FFS and high dollar trolling motors this year.

I went out crappie fishing today in the far upper Gravois arm of Lake O 54° out in the sun at 3.30pm Once the sun went down it abruptly changed to 46.5 Was 43° when I pulled the boat out at the ramp right before dark. Yeah we caught 'em 🙂

At one time I thought that having a 3wt. for panfish would be a blast....so I bought one. All it did was frustrate me. The slightest breeze made casting a challenge, or almost impossible. I gave it up and decided that a 5wt. was as light as I ever wanna go with fly gear. If I was messing with little Brookies on tiny mountain streams I might reconsider.
