  1. We don't want those big blues getting a taste for human ! 😳
  2. Windyville! Yeah, they probably have plenty. 😅
  3. I chiseled the bullet off, but the powder didn't just pour out......so I started poking and pecking around until it went BOOM and scared the hell out of me. I got a severe butt chewing from the ol'man, but then after he cooled down, and my ears quit ringing, he schooled me on the inner workings of a rimfire and center-fire cartridge, and he even cut open (dissected) a shotshell at the kitchen table so that my curiosity was settled for good. 😂
  4. I've been a huge Champion fan for years, and still am.....But they ain't exactly perfect. 🤷‍♂️
  5. I've been through a ton of them, and I can promise you that Nitro's are every bit as well built as any of the other leading brands. And are even better built than many. I've chopped up a Champion, a couple of Chargers, a Triton, Tidecraft, and whatever the one was with the "Kevlar infused Incredible Hull" (name escapes me at the moment) with a chainsaw, and I was surprisingly disappointed in the frame and build quality. I'm not so sure that any of them truly deserve their reputation. Lots of little things that show a total lack of engineering knowledge. And a lack of structural integrity.
  6. I think it's Umerex that has a full auto BB gun in the configuration of an Uzi.
  7. Well ya know.......Phil is concerned about 10 year olds reading these posts. And discussions like this one could potentially get somebody's kid killed. Spoken from a knucklehead that when he was 7 years old took a hammer and chisel to a .22 magnum cartridge because he wanted to see what flakes of gunpowder looked like under a microscope. Yeah, that was ME. 🙄
  8. Just to prevent anyone here from getting any stupid ideas and trying it, it's kinda important to realize that altering the trigger sear mechanism on a semi-auto results in the hammer following the bolt forward, and that means that the firing pin is ALWAYS pushed forward, so it is the FIRING PIN that seats the cartridge into the chamber. Therefore if the cartridge ever hangs up (even slightly) the premature detonation can cause the casing to blow out the side and hurt you or anyone standing nearby. Guns designed for full-auto have a hammer delay that allows the bolt to close fully before detonation......AND the chambers are slightly oversized to allow extra clearance, which also means that discharged casings from that gun cannot be reloaded without resizing......and you can only resize & reload them ONCE.
  9. Lamb lung sounds more like turtle bait to me. Throw that $#!t away ! 🙄
  10. It hurts like hell when you step on them with bare feet ?
  11. Exactly. I've experienced it too. Hell the first few attempts I wasn't even capable of keeping the trigger depressed. I had to focus more on THAT than keeping the muzzle pointed in the right direction.
  12. Easy now! 🙄 The mark of a good BSer is NOT getting butthurt when someone calls you out on it. 2 or more keyhole shots from a full auto...... especially from one that you Rube Goldberg'ed....... is just pushing the limits of things that can be believed. Especially among a group of experienced shooters. Doesn't mean we don't love ya, it just means we ain't gonna pretend to believe it. 😘
  13. The center console bay boat would suit ya better. IMO they shoulda left the bassboat market alone.....and just concentrated on those. 👍 Pretty darn sweet!
  14. I'd challenge anyone to produce a halfway decent 5 shot group from a full auto. Even from a benchrest.
  15. In a perfect world we'd have more rednecks in government.
  16. Layout doesn't suit me personally, but they may have models that aren't so thick gunneled and tight inside. I haven't driven them..... but I really don't think I need to, I can tell how it's going to handle just by looking at it. To be blunt I kinda see them as a boat designed for short fat guys that always sit down to fish.
  17. I rigged a small fleet of 19' center console bay boats, and I have had several of the bass boat models in for various repairs. I really dig the center console boats, they run out really good and are a breeze to do repairs on (pumps, plumbing, electrical circuits are easy to get to, and are neatly installed). Not nearly as impressed with the bass boats. If you are a fan of Cajun boats you'll recognize them immediately and feel right at home.
  18. I hear them being touched off in all directions around here, either full auto or a bump stock. Everytime we hear one I say.... "Well, there goes about 120.00 in 5 seconds" 🙄
  19. Everyone that has a Yeti feels the need to parade it anytime a camera gets pointed in their direction. It's a bonafide status symbol.
  20. Well...... that's akin to the stuff being spread about politicians and other "rulers". If it wasn't true then you can bet that they, and their lawyers, would be on top of it. The quickest way to hush the nastiness is to fail to respond in any form.
  21. Before we go any further here.......What is the statute of limitations on these crimes we are openly confessing to? 😅
  22. I escaped 2 deputies and a possession charge in a 1967 Chevy 250 6cyl., 3 on the tree. Got on a gravel road and put up a cloud of dust that nobody could drive through. It wasn't a TOTAL escape.....cuz they knew where I lived.....but it did buy me enough time to stash the reefer. 😏
  23. 24gr. Yeah I bet it is fast. I also bet they will group like a handful of marbles at 50yrds. 🙄 Probably about as accurate as a slingshot.
  24. Ahh, you've got yourself a textbook demisexual there. Have you ever taken her camping? Bet she's real OCD with the fire poking stick. 🙄
  25. My BIL has taken to a sudden infatuation with ice fishing. Now I understand.
