Well then how did I and 6 others get out of paying ? I was granted a 1st time buyer home loan shortly afterwards.

I worked as an "independant contractor" for a cable TV company at one point in my life. Suddenly out of nowhere I was audited and the IRS claimed I was in arrears for over 14k. I panicked and called a lawyer friend (fishing buddy). He asked what FEIN# I had given the cable company? I didn't even know what a FEIN was at the time, and I told him I never provided anything other than my SSN to them. His advice was to not speak a word to anyone from the IRS, and if they called me again to tell them I was being represented by him and to give them his number. They called, I forwarded them to him.....and it all went away. You can't claim payment to an independent contractor without providing the contractors FEIN#. The cable company went on the hook for 7 of us "independent contractors". Either KNOW the laws, or have friends that do. 👍

What kind of business? Working from my home I pay next to nothing. It almost feels like I am cheating.....but it's 100% legit. I get asked all the time why I don't move the business up on the main highway, but I already have as much work as I can possibly do, and working here keeps my overhead down so my labor rates aren't completely rediculous. I don't feel like I would gain a thing by being right up on the highway.

My favorite so far was this young husband, wife, and small child that had just bought a used bass rig for 11k and the Mariner Magnum EFI on the back of it puked 2 pistons on its 3rd trip out. After going over the options and estimates the husband was severely bummed out, but his young bride was being 100% supportive, telling him "it's ok, just a small setback, you'll make the 4600.00 back in no time, right?". It was obvious that he had convinced her that if they bought this boat and he quit his job....that he was gonna win LOTS OF MONEY! It was all I could do to keep from telling her.... Honey, you might as well go ahead and have the divorce and child support papers drawn up tomorrow. 🙄 Sure enough, 3 months after the job was completed the EX-wife calls to see if I will handle the sale of the boat.....and her DAD drops it off. 😂

They'll rape it until it gets to where they don't catch much anymore....then the majority will move on to other things. The fishing will rebound in their absence. Couple years probably.

We sat and figured it up awhile back. The cost to run an average bass boat calculates from 60.00 to140.00 per hour. The 60/hr. is fixing up an old tin boat on the cheap and not carrying insurance. Tow vehicle didn't even get added into the figure.

Unless you won a boat last week, sold it, and are riding a bicycle to the creek this week, you ain't fishing for free. 😊

What does "break up police dept" mean exactly? There will never be a city without law enforcement, there's too much money in it for them to just stop enforcing laws. They are just pouting because they don't feel as loved and respected as they think they should.....so they are threatening to "run away". 🙄 Let them go and they'll be back before the stoplight turns red again.

I know that I get treated alot nicer now for fixing guys boats than I ever did when I was trying to beat them fishing. And I get way more of their money now too. I win everytime. 😎👍 So you go right ahead and be the hammer. I'm happier being the wrench. 😊

It's not at all uncommon in this game to have a wicked, almost magical 5-6 year run, that eventually peter's out and leaves you among the majority of the crowd. Everyone whose name you recognize, has been there..... that's why you know who they are. I had a 4-5 year run during the mid-late 90's where I absolutely couldn't do anything wrong, every decision I made was the right one. Then one day the magic just dissolved. I've seen that happen to numerous guys over and over through the years. Wheeler has been on fire quite awhile, but mark my word.... it's gonna dump on him like a hot girlfriend before long.

I'm a big fan of the Exide Nautilus 1000....or equivalent. Regardless of what motor I'm hooking it up to. I'd run them in my truck if they made them in side post 😊 FVP has the same exact battery with a different label on it. Made in the same factory.

Change out the "protruding pipe" with one that will allow it. Or drill out the nipple so it will go over the protruding pipe. I haven't attempted to change one out yet....but I'm sure it's possible.

Yep, I have quite a few Amish customers, great people to deal with and their kids are the most well behaved pleasant children to be around. We always threaten our kids with "trading them to a nice Amish family" whenever they start acting like jackasses.

I think I recommended quite awhile back to hook it up to a portable fuel tank. Pull the "pickup tube" they allegedly installed....and see what's going on there. My guess is that they nigger-rigged it... because replacement pickup tubes are not a thing you can just look up and order. Is there a part# for a pickup tube on your invoice? Bet not.

It isn't the motor that is shunned..... it's the licensing, titling, and paying property taxes on it that is. If they can get a waiver to use it legally then they will.
