I'll tell ya what it smells like to me....It smells like the agents couldn't dare return the fish to the guy and say "Ok, sorry, you're legit" after all they had done, and the time they had wasted....so they FIXED the situation. After a complete Case.net.com check of the guy, of course 🙄.
Judging someone because of an imperfect past is double jeopardy, and isn't supposed to be allowed in our judicial system. If we're gonna do THAT then let's check with the ex-wives of all the agents and verify their upstanding citizenship as well.
