Lots of concrete work sure went into that hatchery upgrade that isn't being utilized. If they couldn't afford to feed the fish they were originally capable of producing then WTH did they need a bigger-better hatchery for, I wonder.

Well now see, you buy into some BS that I've yet to be convinced of. I know we've all been told that the mean and weird middle-eastern people "hate us because we're free", and that they want to take over our country, change our religious views, and control our wives and children, ect, ect. But honestly I've never heard or seen anything that causes me to actually believe that. And even if it IS true......no Army/Navy/Air Force/Marines is necessary. Go ahead and just let them cruise right on into Gravois Mills, Missouri and we'll see how things work out for them. My guess is that the reason they are pissed at us is because WE keep jacking with THEM in an unfair fashion. Call it "defense" all you want 🙄

What motor is pushing it ?

Once per year is plenty often for most, but checking it periodically is a good habit. The way to check it is to put the motor in a straight up/down position and let it sit like that overnight to allow any water to separate, remove the lower screw-plug and see if any water comes out, then just make sure the lube level is full. If more than a teaspoon or two of water is present, or the lube level is more than a small squirt low.....then you have seal(s) leaking. I change mine 2-3 times per year ....but I spend a lot of time running, and because of my occupation it costs me next to nothing.

Yep, I have one like that next door and there's 3 kids in the mix. You have no idea how hard it is to keep my mouth shut and mind my own business. Poor guy is inevitably gonna get strapped with alimony and $upport of 3. His life is ruined and he doesn't even know it yet. Good dude too, hard worker and truly loves his kids. So freakin' sad. 😔

Actually I don't like duck and assumed that goose tasted about the same. You showed me otherwise and I certainly appreciate that. Squirrels, on the other hand, I've eaten plenty and as I said, it's ok. Like Reds better than Gray's, but grays are all I see around here. I'll try throwing them in a covered casserole dish and popping them in the oven after frying next time, but I have my doubts about that changing the texture much. Worth a try though. I spoke here before about my great aunts squirrel pot pie. Now THAT is the way to eat squirrel ! Oh man! If I just knew how she did that gravy that was in there then that's the way I'd fix it every time. The bits of squirrel meat were small enough that it didn't matter how tough it was.

Skinning squirrels is never fun regardless of your technique. Not among my favorite meals either. Tastes good, but chewier than I prefer. Ya gotta be hungry to truly enjoy them IMO. But that rabbit..... 😋👌👍

Spray them down with the hose, or dip them in the creek before you start.

My kids enjoy it too because they can just ride their bikes there, and they always make friends and then have someone new to hang out with. Keeps them from constantly bickering amongst themselves all week/weekend.
