Yeah whatever they were doing (stocking schedule) back in 2002-03-04 was really working well. 2005 it was flooded all winter and I don't think they stocked any at all. Since then it has only been kinda so-so overall.

I haven't seen a tick on my dog in quite awhile, pretty sure they are gone for the year. Same with chiggers.

My insurance co. operates the same way. I threw a fit and told them I had been paying premiums since I was 16 and had only filed one piddly claim so SEND ME A DANG CARD! They do now, every 6 months. :)

I'll tell you what drives me crazy about you, Al, is that you don't take flyfishing for Smallies serious enough. I want you to do more of it....and I wanna read about it when you do. You could pour all kinds of color combos to amuse yourself, but the aces color has gotta be a brownish olive (green punkin) with black flake. I would experiment more with the consistency of the finished product moreso than a plethora of blended colors. I've fished them a bunch here lately and I really like the density of the Strike King shim-e-stick, it is perfect IMO.

Dude, you're talking to a guy that fishes over frayed steel cables with ZM on them 75% of the time. Maybe you need some fresh line. I have a whole jar full of ZM on my desk. I can take one and attempt to cut 15# P-Line with them. I have to really work at it. Yeah they are sharp if you step directly on top of them, but they are also pretty easily dislodged. Can you shave your face while holding your razor lightly between two fingers ? No, not very well. The line cutting tales are just more BS IMO . Sure it is possible if the tension angle is just right, but try to do it on purpose and you'll see that it isn't as likely as you think.

Me either, Jerry. Lots of negative ZM propaganda has everyone convinced that they are bad news. Same with didymo, the emerald ash borer, ect. It's always something that we wouldn't be able to control no matter what we do. Just a bunch of biologists trying to make their job seem important. You can either spend 300.00 on a prop shaft and seal kit. OR you can buy a replacement LU for 450.00 then sell your driveshaft, gear set, and housing (if it is undamaged) separately and almost break even.
