  1. I can now see why Ned heads are such a lucrative business.....once you rig one the hook rusts out in 24 hours. I've caught a few dozen bass, about 40 drum, and a channel cat on them, but I have gone through at least 25 jig heads. Do they make that crap without salt ?
  2. So the dude from Lake Ozark must have turned states evidence on them and got off scott-free ? The way I initially heard it HE was the one that started the whole scam. This reeks of entrapment to me.
  3. I could build one that would smoke them all for about 3k. I think that one had a Yamaha 3cyl. 60 tiller on it. Good choice too, as that motor is light and fast. Notice No 4-Strokes? Those boys know what their doing.
  4. There are two really good reasons not to head out into a fog on a body of water where motorboats are used. 1. You can't see. 2. You can't be seen. So both you and the guy that almost hit you are equally at fault.
  5. I group "Mom leaving a loaded gun with the safety off" just laying in her purse right in there with Poor Handling. It could have just as easily discharged while she was digging for a tampon.
  6. The most recent was a member of my extended family (carry's everywhere) that shot themself in the hand while at the pawn shop in Laurie and the bullet exited the building towards the convenience store next door. No legal action was taken. Another happened at a church in Richland about a year or so ago where the gun discharged TWICE with one bullet striking two people. There was one at a nursing home in Montgomery city, someone's gun discharged as they were getting out of a car coming back from lunch and darn near blew their calf and heel off. Another was at a restaurant in Cole camp where a 10 year old girl was shot in the shoulder. That was about 4-5 years ago I think. Then there was a gal in wal-mart whose kid (riding in the cart) grabbed her gun from her purse and discharged it....but luckily nobody was hurt. (That one did make the LOCAL news, but none of the others did). Another was yet another accidental discharge at church, in St.Elizabeth I believe, a guy died a week later in the hospital. I heard about that one of the other Marina's I frequent. As far as I know there was no mention of it on the local news. They (whoever THEY are?) just don't like those kind of incidents being publicly reported too much it seems.
  7. Nope, but there's another one !
  8. Well I know of 4 for sure (possibly 6) in my little corner of the nation....and only one of them was "kinda" mentioned via the media. So I am left to assume that it has happened QUITE A BIT. To doubt that is ridiculous, don't you agree ?
  9. There IS a bit of a cover-up when it comes to CC accidents. It happens pretty frequently yet seldom makes the news.
  10. Then why aren't there groundhog farms?
  11. How does groundhog taste ?
  12. I'd love to build one of those, but no desire to drive it. Those guys in the front are madmen!
  13. Oh, was there a Crime Stopper in Topeka ? Cool, they can layoff half the police force now and start collecting a fund for him.
  14. Saw two blues the other day on LO that I thought something was wrong with them, they were along a channel bank near the surface twirling around like they were about to die. I assume that is spawning activity? Never seen them do that before.
  15. Sure, Pass!
  16. Very nice! Good thing you didn't hook one of these while jiggin' from the yak.
  17. No it's clean. Supposed to be anyway. Let me just rephrase the question since you're playing stupid. When was the last time you caught a decent fish? Yeah I know...."Define decent". Let's call that a bass/trout/catfish over 16", or a bluegill over 8".
  18. Since you last shampooed and/or brushed your lap dog ?
  19. Have you even caught a fish lately?
  20. What are they gonna do, live there? A cop driving through occasionally isn't going to change anything unless they are there ALOT and undercover.
  21. My wife just got back from Omaha and said they were thick up there. I have only seen 2 here.
  22. Yeah me too. I'm not so sure that very many are abiding by that one.
  23. My 100mph vest is suffering from mildew and sun exposure, I really should replace it but those suckers ain't cheap anymore. I'm not sure I'd trust the one above.
  24. Yeah me either, except for Copenhagen maybe.
  25. There ya have it. So if your weed connection ever runs dry just find you some broken glass, litter, or fresh graffiti....and there will be some sticky buds close by.
