Fish/Ski boats typically have stronger transoms, but they are not robust enough on the bow cap to handle some of today's heavier trolling motors. As long as you stick with old school standard mount trolling motors you'll be fine, but don't haul off and install an Ultrex or a Ghost on one....or it will start breaking loose the first big wave you hit.

Sword 5/6. Yes, I have 3 of the Sword rods. Two 9' 7's and one 8'6" 4. I bought a couple of their lines but I'm not a fan of them. They cast great, but too stretchy for my taste.

Changing it from right to left hand is just a matter of flipping over the one-way bearing BEFORE you wind the backing and line on. These here are just as good, if not better, than the Pfluger Trion. At a fraction of the cost.

I have a Pfluger Trion 1978 It balances out a St.C Legend Ultra 9 for 6 just perfectly. I've fished it pretty hard for about 10 years. No problems at all, love it.

What's the budget allow? In other words......How much are you willing to spend ?

To me, it's about being forced to pay for things without consulting whether we feel it's necessary or not. It effects different people differently. When I was in my teens & twenty's smoking weed was fun. Then the attic biologists started "experimenting" with it.....and the next thing ya know a few tokes was like dropping a 1/4 hit of blotter acid. Once it got to the point that I couldn't fish, tie flys, or shoot a bow worth a crap while I was high, I pretty much stopped enjoying it. The weed available NOW isn't nearly as enjoyable as the old school Colombian brown weed that I grew up with. Honestly I seldom partake anymore unless I have absolutely no plans to do anything except clean the shop, or sit around the yard and watch cars drive by......which isn't fun at all because then I usually end up getting all paranoid about something. Biologists ruined Marijuana..... Yet another reason to wanna kick them all in the throat. 🙄

Now we have to go retrieve it, haul it in, and inspect/dissect it. The cost of this just keeps getting larger and larger. Surely they are preparing an invoice for this, to send the Chinese government, and it is NOT being deducted from our tax returns.

China should have to reimburse the U.S. for all this has cost us. I'm thinking at least 14,000,000.00 for every 12 hour period that it occupies our airspace. It's causing the chickens to stop laying eggs, and all kinds of things destructive to our way of life......or so we could legitimately claim. It's 2023 so let's milk this for all it's worth!

I'm sure. My wife had a deer jump out of nowhere when she was in her early 20's, causing her to crash, and she refuses to drive still. It's frustrating to me, but I'm not in favor of trying to force someone to drive that isn't comfortable doing it. Being behind the wheel gives her uncontrollable anxiety.

When it was first spotted how did they immediately determine that it was a Chinese vessel ? Did they just zoom in and say...." Look at this POS, must have been made in China" ? Or did they start contacting other countries.... beginning with Russia....to see if anyone would claim it ? Or were we (they) contacted, by someone in China, before it ever got here, and told that it was on its way ? I'm gonna assume the latter. Either way let's hope that it isn't dumping the second round of Covid, or worse. 🙄 And lastly, why is everything about it CLASSIFIED and CONFIDENTIAL ?

I don't think so. Aside from a brief period of cocaine luxury I've never been a consistent partaker of "hard" drugs.

I'll never forget the peppery taste/smell of paraquat treated Mexican shake. For an entire spring/summer (I believe that was 1980-81) that was all we could get our hands on. I can't believe we were stupid enough to smoke that. Jesus! 🙄

That translates to a sustained wind of 15, with the occasional gust to 25. They always exaggerate wildly just to be on the safe side.

If flyfishing is good for those healing from cancer, then why are those of us, that have been doing it all of our lives, getting it ? 😅 Is it because Buffs and SPF clothing wasn't invented soon enough? Noooo, I think I get it..... It's because once you realize that peace of mind still exists in your life, the quality of life improves noticably, regardless of whatever you might be dealing with. 👍 Nothing gives me peace of mind to the degree of being on a beautiful stream with a flyrod and a box of flys that I tyed myself does. All those troubling cares and worry's just seem to dissolve. ✌️

We have 3 dispensaries within 10 miles of here. According to FB friends their parking lots have been full since they opened this morning. 😅 That would be kinda stupid. Fentanyl is way more expensive than weed is. Drug dealers aren't typically known for just giving stuff away for free.
