Taking guns away, even if attempting to do so was effective, is not going to eliminate crime and murder. I'd rather have to deal with an active shooter situation than to be in an area when a bomb goes off, or some other type of chemical assault. It's actually a good thing that when some crazy person decides to kill people that grabbing a "gun" is their first thought.

I've never done any bee farming, but at least twice per year I'll pop off a motor cowling and instantly be in the middle of a swarm of cranky stingers. I have learned to just stay calm and not make any sudden movements. That seems to work way better than dropping everything and taking off running. Ran over a nest of yellow jackets with the mower a couple weeks ago. I just kept mowing and pretended that it didn't even happen. Amazingly I managed to not get stung, even though 2-3 got inside the arm holes of my tank top. It takes some serious self control to not start swatting and flailing your arms around when you can feel them on the back of your neck. π³ I have always heard that they can sense panic, and will launch a full on assault if they do......and I wholeheartedly believe that.

They'll never get THEIRS either. Matter of fact..... they'll get YOURS before they get THEIRS.

Yeah I know. That's like my daughter asking..... "if SOMEONE flushed a toothbrush down the toilet, what would happen?". π

Oh I'm not into it, but don't you think it's best to be aware of what all kinds of people are out there? Besides, it's YOU that is walking around sticking your finger in your butt and then smelling it. π My mom used to tell me some REAL horror stories from the State Hospital, and after she knew you had fully processed one of these tales, she'd say......"Just remember, we only have a small percentage of these types locked up. The rest of them are out there walking among us". π³ There's a dude there that actually is aire to the land that Six Flags is on. Rich as all hell......but one crazy mo-fo! If you knew about some of the crap he has done, you'd freak.

Are you watching "2girls 1cup" AGAIN ?

Solid performance! π Did the bass look fat and healthy? Feels good to hear a positive report from MT. Upper, middle, or lower end of the lake ?
-
Possibly. They immediately stop collecting and advertising the results of such "data", if the economic impact is unfavorable. I've seen that firsthand.

I hear that all the time π The main reason I come HERE is so I can experience people telling me what a jackoff I am. But thanks just the same, DP. π

I smell something on my fingers (peanut butter?) and I haven't even stuck them in my crack yet. If my hand comes out smelling like a Reese's will you buy some chocolate from me ?

Absolutely beautiful! Can you PM me your phone# please.

33 hooks, and if you have more than 3 rods in use (like spider riggers/trollers do) then they are supposed to be labeled with your conservation number.

They ARE fast.....if you can get out of the hole. Low end torque (needed for a snappy hole-shot) is their weak area. Once you can get craaaawled out of the hole, and the bow finally breaks over...... Then she'll scream. -

Pretty much. It isn't the motors that I hate...... it's the way they operate as a company. It's just ROTTEN. And the loyalty that so many folks have for them is confusing to me, because it certainly isn't deserved. -

My very first V6 overhaul was a 2.4 Black Max chrome bore. It lasted just under 4 years, and then detonated #4 while trying to beat a Charger/Yamaha to Cole camp creek. Rebuilt it AGAIN, and a year and a half later it broke the crankshaft during a hole shot. Rebuilt it a 3rd time.....and sold it to a poor bastard in Wisconsin before it could go down again. π -

I may have told this story here before, but I'll tell it again, just in case, and because it's one of my favorite stories. My grandpa thought someone was running his limb lines on the Middle Fork of the Salt river, so he put a nice fish on one and staked it out one evening. Sure enough here comes a Paris Water Co. boat with a guy and his kid. As soon as the fish was in their boat my grandpa shot him in the arm with a Winchester pump .22 And then the next morning he pulled into the Water Co. office and asked who didn't show up for work that morning. Found out, and then went to the dudes house. Sure enough there he was laying on the couch all bandaged up. They had words, but eventually became best friends. My grandpa even named a dog after him. RIP Carl. You turned out to be a hell of a good guy. π -

Here ya go. I had a really aggressive bite the day before yesterday so I threw it on the floor and made another cast really fast.....Boom, another one.....threw it on the floor......Boom, ANOTHER ONE ! THEN it was over. Had I took the time to piddle around with my phone, or put my rod down and walked to the livewell, switched it on, ect. then there would have only been ONE brought to hand. They all swam off fine after the flurry. No more stressful than putting them through a tournament weigh-in. 3 solid keepers in less than 1.5 minutes. Wrench tip for the day:. Quit worrying about "recording the moment", and KEEP FISHING ! π If you could do that during a MLF event then the weights would skyrocket. -

Funny you mentioned that π We hit 4 different spots, and only one of them was a "ML Point". And that just so happened to be the ONLY place where we failed to get bit. Your precious ML points are safe from ME. π -

It is confusing. The 2.0L was the original XR2 But before that you had the 2.4 BM which was a chrome bore powerhead with vertical reeds. Then along came the 2.4 Bridgeport (steel bore, horizontal reeds, and among the most sought after of all the Mercs). Then came the basic 2.5L, and then 2.5 with boost port(XR4)......then back to the original 2.5 (XR6)......and then onward with the 2.5 as an EFI. It's enough to make your head spin. -

No picsπ They were actually a bit of an annoyance, because we were supposed to be BASS FISHING. But after about 9 of them we were like......"This could be fun if it was actually what you wanted to do". π No hard strikes, just "tick", hard hook set, and... "Oh $#!t, this ain't a bass!" π₯΄ -

Went out with a local guide yesterday, to learn the art of Livescope "Flutter Spoon Fishing"..... Absolutely loaded the boat with big Blues in less than 3 hours. Immediately came home and placed a 67.00 order with Tackle Warehouse. π The Catfish crowd is missing the boat on that gig. Wow, what a blast! -
