For whatever reason I've never had mice around here. I've owned this property since 1998 and have never (not even once) found a single mouse turd anywhere in my house, or in my shop. My neighbors say the same, so there's something about this ridge that mice apparently don't like. And I'm thrilled 😁 Cats and their little paw prints all over my customers boats will not be permitted.....so they get a pellet in the brain immediately. It's not really fair because I know that boats smell like fish....and they just wanna look around.....but sometimes life isn't fair. 🙄

BS! I'm not buying that. 🙄 The biggest success rate you're likely to see, per boat, with 3 shooters on deck, is 7-9 per hour. Dealing with a stuck fish takes a bit of time....you can't just stick one and immediately launch it into the tub, and then hop right up there and stick another one. Anyone that has done it knows that it doesn't work like that.

Agreed. There's something I've noticed about the feral cats around here....They are LOOONG! Long bodies and long tails. Everytime I pick up a dead one I'm blown away by how rediculously long and heavy these suckers are. Huge! Do you suppose that's a bloodline thing, and that they are all related?

Yeah well.....as I sit here talking about what an authority I am on how to keep bears and cougars from causing problems......I have 2-3 kitty cats around here that I can't seem to pull rank on. 😅 So there's that.

To each their own 🤷♂️ Even if I was routinely banging and getting blown by the neighbors wife I wouldn't wanna live that closely to them. I couldn't even tolerate my grown kids living that close. I've never experienced apartment living. It works for plenty of folks but to me that is just weird. Like prison.

Yep, the town cops, Sheriff's dept., and MDC have been trying to coax it (and its kin) nearer to HHT state park where they assume he'll be more happy, but bears don't necessarily want to comply to the wishes and assumptions of townfolk. When I lived in Buford, GA I learned how to keep bears from being a problem. But people around here haven't figured it out yet. 🙄

That actually WAS our plan, there's good easy money to be made there, and I have some ideas about what could make OUR PLACE awesome and unique. I just am not sure that I like people enough to be happy and successful doing it. If you outprice the young partiers can you still make the rent? I know that when I go to a river camp I'd gladly pay more for extra space between sites. I also don't understand RV type people. There's no way in hell I would want to park my unit in a trailer park where everyone could smell each other's farts.....But yet they are all full.

Oh make no mistake..... I'm jealous. 100% I'll openly denigrate what I do for a living.... it's stupid as all hell. No health insurance, no retirement, and every boat I walk over to "fix" is a potential bomb threat. The only gratification is that a bunch of fishing dudes on Facebook, whom I barely even know, say nice things about me. Wooo-Hoooo! 🙄 A far too late "career change" is definitely forthcoming......as soon as I figure out what it's gonna be. 🤔

Ahh, ok gotcha. I'd be more interested in natural ways to boost it. I'm not one to accept synthetic 'scripts. When you said "gear" I thought you meant EXCERSISE EQUIPMENT......$#!t, everything I touch is excersise equipment. Even these Marlboro Reds. 😅

Have you seen all of the footage of the cinnamon colored bear that's been tearing up garbage cans, and destroying cars with Sonic bags in the floorboard around Camdenton ? He's a real douchebag! Why are we protecting and marveling these "things"? Put them down NOW.....or you'll wish to hell that you had.

I have a number of things on the schedule for tomorrow. I only wish someone would step in and tell me NOT to do them. I'd comply so fast it would make your head spin. Seriously though, what is a can of beans.....about 64 cents? The gas you'd burn in the tiller, or in the truck going to get gas for the tiller, would pay for a whole winters worth of beans. Piss on that gardening just to be gardening. I know darn well that you already own a can opener. Get your money's worth out of that useful tool. 🙄

In all my years of doing this I've never heard an insurance adjuster criticize WHERE their client was when the object was impacted. They pay the same whether the log was in 2' or in over 40'. 😊

If some group of nerdy biologist's wants to keep track of the biggest brown trout they can produce.....then fine. But they shouldn't clog up the record books with that BS. Same with those heavily tampered, specially fed deer with stupid NT racks cluttering up the Boone & Crockett and Pope & Young scorecards. -
