  1. The new EPA fuel tanks are designed to let air in but not allow air and vapor to escape. They didn't have brains enough to consider that when a fuel tank warms up that it will swell up like a dead pig and create upwards to 60psi of fuel pressure in the fuel system, which is more than enough to blow needle valves off their seats, blow holes in fuel pump diaphrams, and rupture fuel lines. So not only is VAPOR going to escape into the atmosphere.....Raw Fuel will too. The new age fuel hoses with the vapor liners won't last a single year before the liner collapses inside the hose, causing a fuel restriction. Absolutely ignorant (and dangerous) engineering. I can't believe the stupidity being displayed these days, and the audacity to charge 300% extra for it.
  2. Yeah if your doing it "professionally" then glue is good....BUT the truth of the matter is that bunk carpet is only gonna last 3-4 years tops whether you glue it or not, and glue just makes replacing it a major PIA. Better IMO to be able to just rip it off and recover them lickety-split. Just take a stapler and a pair of scissors to the boat ramp....and boom, DONE
  3. Don't get me started on THAT $#!+
  4. Most Marine outlets will have bunk carpet in rolls 8 or 11 inch wide. It makes the job of covering the bunks go quick and easy. Whoever wraps all the presents at Christmas time in your house will gladly take the job. 😊
  5. I just use CCA treated lumber, and only cover the top and sides with carpet, leaving the bottom uncovered so it drys out quicker. If you want to make it last as long as possible then pre-drill and paint the bunks (2 coats) before you carpet them.
  6. That's true love right there! I bet she makes a wonderful pasta salad 😍
  7. With a proper diet the perfect doodle doesn't require a single wipe. Personally I feel the need to shower afterwards. πŸ€ͺ
  8. For the most part I think people take reviews with a grain of salt. I always get torqued when someone gets upset about a business deal we had, and I'm always willing and anxious to disclose MY SIDE of the story......but nobody ever asks. πŸ˜… Stars are for gazing at at 2:am, they serve no other purpose, and when a few go streaking across the sky and are gone forever it means nothing. Piss on that guy and his opposing world views. You couldn't have made him happy if you had given him lodging for free and washed his car while he slept...and good people know that. Blow it off. 😊
  9. Ya know.......Yeah! That's a really good point. And I think it applies to all walks of life. If you just think about it for a minute there's really no need for a "study". It's obvious.
  10. Yep, she's backwatering up. The fish don't like it when it does that either. Shuts them down worse than any frontal passage.....or at least it does here on my end of LakeO.
  11. If you go totally anal on prep you can get surprising results with rattle cans too.
  12. Never cared for them myself, that's probably why they are going out of business πŸ˜…
  13. Y'all and your Wiggle Minnows. πŸ˜„ Cool pix, looks serene.
  14. It's a real eye opening documentary about internet dating, women, religion, lawyers, the judicial system, true friends and how they helped one simple minded hick overcome it all and see through to a happy ending. We'll crack a beer eventually πŸ˜‰
  15. My oldest daughter was, half the time. She's a trooper! The bi-polar 2nd wife I had at the time bailed, ran off with a guy from her church, and was busy trying to take me for all I was worth. It's a really cool story, I'll share it with you sometime.
  16. I was homeless for 7 months (March to October) after the tornado. Poopin' in the woods, cooking over a fire or on a Coleman stove, bathing and washing clothes in a bucket of creek water, ect. until the new house got plumbed and sided. Everyone felt sorry for me but I had enough money to go stay in a motel or rent an apartment.... I was perfectly happy living like that. 😊
  17. I always flyfish when I'm on a river, but speaking of chugging walking baits a Storm Chug Bug tied on with a loop knot is a killer walking popper. I do great with it on the lake, and I've never heard it mentioned as a good river Smallie bait. Bet it would kill in slow water.
  18. I've never caught 4 in a single day. Here's my prettiest one though 😊
  19. Guaranteed to cool your balls! Since I got shot down on my other idea. πŸ™
  20. I wonder if the temperature of your balls determines whether you'll have a boy or a girl? Like alligator eggs. I never have made a boy. Maybe I need to get busy! πŸ˜‰
  21. 211° That is the temperature of my balls right now, according to the Etekcity Lasergrip 774 Non-contact Digital Laser Infrared Thermometer Temperature Gun. I am supposed to be waist deep in an Ozark stream today ! 😏
  22. Are you referring to the fact that it costs 10 times more to camp than it does to stay in the nearest motel ? πŸ˜…
