  1. You're being overly technical. There's a line of "intent" that is usually always considered. If they try to give you a citation then remind them of the 12 year old girl that accidentally shot the elk.....whom they turned into a magazine article hero, high-fiving her.
  2. The transparent look it gives to scud patterns really gives me confidence. A wet TC looks so much like the real thing.....if nothing else it gives me lots of confidence.
  3. I do for TC's. No problems at all. I'm always concerned that the whip finish is gonna come unraveled ......but it never does, and I don't use any kinda glue either. The stuff I use is Uni-thread clear nylon 8/0. Plenty strong and lays down fine. No twisting around on the hook.
  4. Actually no you don't. There are bluegill, goggle-eye, and Smallmouth bass in Bennett spring. You COULD BE fishing for either of those.
  5. You wanna pay a lawyer 1200.00 or just pay the 75.00 fine ?
  6. Those look sexy. Nice job! Test them against THESE on the same Jighead....just for kicks.
  7. I don't think I'm Grandpa material. I'd be good at it if I could treat the kids the way my grandpa treated me. But that chit don't fly anymore. 🙄 We must worship every child, even the 98.7% of them that could truly benefit from a few ear ringing blows to the back of the head. Today we must play a different (painless) type of "head game". I lack the patience for all of that carefully thought out psychology crap. "control without physical or emotional pain"...... yeah.....right. Until those rules change I'm pro-abortion. 😂
  8. Hell yes ! 🤟 A smidgen of faith in doctors has been restored.
  9. Oh God, you're a GRANDPA ?! I have forbidden my children to breed until they can beat me at badminton and can keep up with me on a bicycle.
  10. The color was Scuppernong, not Motor oil ! The color of a ripe muscadine berry. Truth Bomb! 💣
  11. Truth bombs! 🤯 If it ain't fake news then it has to be a truth bomb.
  12. I miss paneling ! Why did that have to go out of style?
  13. Sorry, I keep forgetting that you are always targeting Suckers.
  14. Did you forget to identify as a single mother again this year ? Too bad. Here ya go... 🍔
  15. Just say yes to the dress, and your life will go much simpler. 👍
  16. Easy now! Gender confusion and shiftiness is perfectly acceptable in 2019 I've started identifying as a female everytime I'm ordered to do "manly" things around here. Works out great, haven't had to scoop snow or scrape ice off of windshields yet this winter. And when the doors on the Tahoe were frozen shut it was THE OTHER HALF that researched and found the cure for that. I only discover where my weiner is when I want to go hunting or fishing. So just pass that tampon right on over here. I ain't offended at all. 😊
  17. It's not uncommon at all to come across a shallow dock with 5-7 keepers under it in only 2-4 foot of water. Typically you'll catch ONE and while you are hootin'/hollerin' and high-fiving your buddy the others will either take off or get nervous and refuse to bite. If you have several rods rigged and ready so you can just boat flip one, grab another rod and immediatly pitch in there again, you'd be surprised how many double-triple-quadruple fatties you can put in the boat in a matter of seconds. If you take the time to unhook one and look at him.... you've blown it. Doing this isn't much fun, but it's the best way I know of to win tournaments fishing shallow docks. It wouldn't work in MLF that's for sure. 😎
  18. It's gonna be too cold to work, so I could do that. But I'd honestly rather take my wife shopping and grab lunch at Wendy's. We are in a heated competition to see which one of us can spend our allotted portion of the tax return quickest, and right now I am 400.00 ahead of her. 💪🤑
  19. I think you will do better covering water with a drifting bait than you will by anchoring it and waiting for a fish to notice it. Trout are visual feeders, they notice everything that moves through the water. They don't primarily sniff out their food like a catfish. I think you're just being lazy. 😋
  20. I know that if you have a shallow dock with several keepers under it, and you keep pitching baits in there QUICKLY after catching one.....you can catch 4-5. But if you diddle around and waste even a second of time you'll be lucky to catch 2 of them. You have to take advantage of that short little moment of confusion. If you take time to admire the fish, or walk it back to the livewell.....you missed your opportunity.
  21. As for LM, SM bass......I honestly couldn't tell ya because the times I have gotten into big SCHOOLS of keepers has been very rare. Off the top of my head I can only recall 3 maybe 4 times in my entire life that I had a whole big school of toads pinned down. But as for White bass and Crappie ....it really never seems to effect them. It actually seems to turn them on and make them bite even more aggressive.
  22. I hear that statement from numerous anglers, and I 100% disagree. If you care anything about fishing for bass then YES YOU DO ! Especially if you like to fish someplace other than one of the weigh-in areas. A few guys catching and eating bass can only remove whatever the possession limit is before they have a fish fry and eat them. A single tournament clown can remove keeper size fish from any area of the lake over and over and over again, 30, 40, 50+ per week if he is able. The fact that they are being released 10-20-30+ miles away doesn't make it "ok".
  23. If you just throw a fish back in the water it takes off all frantic and I think other fish might truly pick up on that and it can put them on alert. If you ease a fish gently back into the water so it swims off slowly, less all the drama, then I think the others would be less likely to become freaked out about it.
  24. Guys around here do that crap all the time. It boils my balls. The guides all do it so they can post pics/videos on their insanely gay Facebook accounts. By the way.... Please Like And Subscribe! and call/text/or message them for a trip. 🙄 The YouTube channel guys do it so they can have an "end of day" scene in their videos. It's the whole signing off, "thanks for watching", hallelujah thing. Yeah, I'd like to shove all of them, and all their GoPro's, into a soggy bilge compartment and leave them there until they loose about 30 pounds, and don't feel handsome enough to be movie stars anymore.
