That's a little bit different from what I'm talking about, but ok. We're gonna have alot of "felons" who need jobs and loans in about 10 years. I mean ALOT.

Still.....Threatening to do something, and actually doing it are drastically different things. A felony conviction at a young age, just for running your mouth, is cruel and unusual punishment. That's no way for a country to treat it's citizens.

Very touchy subject, but IMO just saying something stupid (or scary) shouldn't be a felony. Kids (and grownups) say crazy stuff all the time. My wife says she is gonna knock my teeth out at least twice a week. She also says "I'm gonna kill that #+&@$*! dog" about 4 times per week. If her lawyer fees wouldn't come out of my pocket I'd have her arrested ! When the day comes that we can be thrown in jail for the things we say...... I'm a goner!

The textured step pad stuff is good footing but drys out and begins curling up at the edges after a couple years. If you can tuck all the edges under then it might last 4-5 years. It doesn't add much sound-proofing. Drop a pair of pliers on the floor and you'll spook every fish for 50 yards.

Yeah the deck is 6' off the ground. The GRAVITY of a potential deck failure is not something I want to be responsible for.

I'm a hep cat on ALL stuff. Except carpentry! I built a dog house and the dog wouldn't even go near it. Now my wife wants a hot tub on the deck and I am in charge of reinforcing/bracing up the deck for an additional 2700 pounds. I'm hiring that job out. At least I'm hep enough to know when I suck at something.

Definitely not. Yeah only once. And I have some sound advice to share. Wanna hear it? I'm gonna say it anyway. A woman that's a freak in bed is a freak out of bed too. And the law has to listen to freaky women. Never forget that unless you have millions set aside for legal representation.

Boy I dunno. Thought I might end up in prison once.....it's pretty dam scary. If you are young and knew you'd still have a chance at a decent life when you got out it might not be so bad, but if you're over 40 then you might as well just take the dirt nap.

Loads of truth herein. Seems like just another form of suicide. None of them so far have "gotten away", and they seem to accept getting killed or getting caught and receiving a life/death sentence just fine. I guess some just can't end their own miserable life without taking others down with them.

Gun laws have changed so many times in my lifetime that it has become annoying. The annoying part is that the only way you can know what the current laws are is to NEVER MISS WATCHING THE NEWS! We are held to these ever changing laws, yet there's no law that actually says we have to read newspapers, browse the internet, or listen to the news every day. Maybe some folks don't wanna listen to the frikken "news" !!! You can't even travel outside your town now because the LAWS can change at every county line, and they can be different every month. That's rediculous. When I first started shooting you could legally do anything you wanted to with a gun, besides kill someone. You could legally shoot anybody you wanted to.......just couldn't kill them. It's true! If someone committed a felony and did their time then they could still have guns. Then they changed it to where if a person ever got convicted of a felony then they could only have muzzle loading guns, then some years later they changed it to where they couldn't even have muzzle loaders. Laws concerning barrel length on shotguns went through change. Laws on how guns could be carried in vehicles have gone through multiple changes. Every time the wind changes direction our gun laws change....but nobody ever sends us notice, or stops by to let us know. We are just expected to constantly monitor the news for ever changing gun laws, and God help you if you missed hearing about one of the changes, because if you break one of them then you are immediately jailed. That's BS ! "Ignorance of the law" is not acceptable, so you'd better spend the first half of every day listening to the news or surfing the internet to ensure you don't break a new law that afternoon. Piss on it. Having firearms is more trouble than it's worth IMO. Just go ahead and take them! I'd rather just shoot dinosaurs with a pellet gun and go fishing than to have to constantly monitor the stupid news all the time. Anyone with a firearm and no computer and cable TV is eventually going to be a criminal. Sad!

I'd like to nominate that for Post of the Year thus far. "I'm not debating this subject, but I want it on record that I emphatically disagree". On the same record I'd like it known that I wasn't initiating a religion debate, I was just pointing out the difference in the thought process possible within our society.

I don't see anything "illegal" going on. Is there a 50' law on TR?

100% agree. If you cared at all....then adrenaline would have taken over and you'd have done.... something. The captain goes down with his ship, and that school and those kids were his ship. He jumped in the first lifeboat he came to.
