You get caught sneakin' a pee at Bennett and it's highly likely. Playgrounds, public parking lots and all. All the judge is gonna hear is "he exposed himself in a park"..... Boom! you're doomed.

I don't care how much you cubicle dwellers enjoy "peeking in" on things at Bennett, the thought of fishing while being voyeured is beyond offensive to me. It's just creepy, period.

Was burning a rattle trap across a shallow flat and had a 12" LM hit it, then a 5lber ate him head first and was throat hooked by one of the exposed points on RT, pinning the nose of the short fish to the throat of the big one. I had to "rip them apart" to get my RT back and separate them, and they both swam away fine when released but the big fish lost alot of blood and probably died later. Kind of a sad ending to an exciting moment....but what can ya do?

Move that red bead 1" in a Northwesterly direction and you'll find another place to "get skunked". LOL

Consider where the fish will be in the near future (spawning areas), and concentrate on the channel swings that are adjacent to spawning habitat.... like the red bead area. One key thing to consider and always pay attention to is the angle of the sun (how the shadows lay) on any bank. Mainlake structure will become less and less productive as the water warms (as a general rule), and then will become more productive again post-spawn. In my mind a river channel where the flooded river bed is deeper than the fish are likely to be (like the green bead area), might as well be ignored as being a "channel bank". The actual channel has no significance.....any steep bank with cover or structure can be equally as good as a steep bank with a channel in 50+fow.

Green bead marks a Mainlake channel swing (could be a bluff, but in this case it really isn't ) Red bead marks a creek channel swing (simply where a creek channel "swings" tight to the bank).

"Type" might be designating between vertical or horizontal shaft, in which case the flywheel would (should) be the same. Pffft. Who am I kiddin'..... I have no idea. But I bet there's a B&S forum online somewhere, chok full of guys that could hook you up with more info than you even want to know.

Not sure of what significance the "type" is, but if you cross reference the ignition coil and the starter part numbers between the two and they are the same then the flywheel "should" be the same. I don't know much about mower engines specifically, but I would think that crankshafts, starters, and flywheels are pretty standard among B&S engines of the same size.

Axle may have just slid back on one side throwing it out of square. Inspect the axle to frame attachment and it should be obvious where it USED to be.....just move it back. Loosen the bolts and use a come-along, then tighten it all back up good.

Yep there's alot of poverty. Snagging IS work. You only get to keep a few, and there's no guarantee that the ones you get will be loaded with eggs. You really think allowing folks to sell their spoonbill roe is gonna cause those who haven't participated in the past to go out and buy a boat, a truck to pull it with, pay taxes and insurance on both, then go out and buy snagging gear, ect.ect. ? I really have my doubts about all that.

Exactly! And we're gonna pay thousands of dollars to agents and investigators, to be sure nobody makes a buck from their catch. Total stupidity IMO.
