In this particular context it refers to..... A display of all that is available if you've got the buying power. 💰

Unrigged ? (Boat & trailer only)

The quickest way into the finance business is to have a product on hand....and a clientele in need of a financier. Wannabe bass pro's could be a perfect target. But problems can arise if warranty issues on the product(s) become overwhelming. As a dealer you are bound by contract to honor those warranty's....UNLESS you suddenly go out of business, and are protected by a LLC. Giving up sales commission in lieu of interest on the loan would work as a business maneuver.....provided you don't have TOO MUCH product failure that can't be fairly easy to rectify. Somewhere on here was a guy that pissed & moaned, and warned about computer controlled 4-stroke outboards, and how poorly they are designed......Who was that? 🤔

....and an agenda 😉 Which is obviously the ONLY thing allowing me to maintain it.

Yeah Boatwrx is toast. Baitwrx remains...for now anyway. There's a lot I'd love to say, and y'all should know how hard it is for me to not speak my mind.....But my thoughts on this aren't gonna help or entertain ANYONE, so I'm gonna practice some couth on this one. 🙄 So many "told ya so's" that I've lost count. 😔

Oh I could just puke !!! 😂 Me and my youngest "surprise blessing" are about to have a come-to-jesus meeting. She'd better start towing the line before one of her sisters come home and knock the snot out of her face ! 😖 Yeah she was precious at 7 too. 🤗

Thought we needed a post on the Buffalo river

Nooo! only phone and cable TV for me. Never played with Electric service. Not on purpose anyway. Before I started aerial construction I worked underground, and hit a mis-located service line to a shopping mall with a R40 Ditch Witch. That SOB went off like a bomb! Taught me a valuable lesson ....whenever the trenching gets amazingly easy all of a sudden, it's TIME TO STOP and investigate!!!! I grabbed my stuff and immediately went home, assuming that an immediate firing was coming my way. Turned out the locate was 14' off so "luckily" (I guess) I was spared the reprimand. -

Sorry. If you've ever stitched a flannel shirt to the inside of your arms with creosote splinters...... You'd understand 😵💫 -

Well Pffft! Once your 30' you might as well be 130' ! Did 4 galvanized tower builds at 80' in Excelsior Springs..... honestly thought I was gonna puke. That sway when you get over 50' is something I don't think anyone can get over, even if you did it everyday for years. Strung poles are pretty solid. -

I used to climb utility poles daily. Wore climbing gear all day, and still don't have any hair on my lower legs because of it. Nowadays I get lightheaded & nervous if I stand on a chair to change a lightbulb. 😂 -
Yeah right....."Let's drive 40 extra miles so we can float 6 miles of stream". Shuttles are for morons 😅 Global warming and all.....

You can't bend one so bad that a rock bigger than the impeller blade gap can get through. Actually if you don't mind filing your prop more often and replacing the liner every year or so, taking the grates off completely isn't a terrible idea. Just don't let the kids swim anywhere near ya. 😉
-
If a rock passes the grate without getting hung......No problem, she'll spit it right on out. 👍
-
60hp and below have a really hard time with leaves. 90+ HP will usually suck them up & spit them out pretty good. Just goose it and Go ! 70-75hp w/jet pumps are the Problem Child. Zero benefit over a 50-60hp. And almost always suffer a blown powerhead or 3 in their lifetime.
-
Heard of them, but never serviced or installed one. This one will straighten out without any excess drama. But this one here.....Those grates (all but maybe 3 of them) are stretched. You aren't going to remove, straighten, and expect the holes to line up again. Forget it !
-
Hey I've only committed to 1/4 of it.
-
Jesus Christ, You ever open your mouth to share a thought....and wish you hadn't? 😅 That's me right now. 😵💫
-
-
Well that's likely because you've never had to re-drill one and elongate the hole to get it reattached. Otherwise you'd know exactly what I'm talking about. How do you think a grate bends drastically without stretching some ? That one of Pete's looks suspiciously on the edge of tolerable flexing.....to me. Jus'sayin' 🤷♂️ Straightening out while still pinned in place keeps things tight. That's all. Nothing to be ultra concerned about....they are plenty affordable.
-
I make part of my living replacing prop shaft seals, so I'd appreciate it if y'all would keep throwing those wads of old monofilament & braid in the lake. 👍 I've got one more kid to put through college.
-
I fail to hear plenty of things, just ask Sugarbritches! But I always notice something buzzing, pinging, or rattling on an outboard that shouldn't be. Nothing superhuman about it, it's just what I've been tuned for. 😉
-
Be careful doing it that way. If it stretches the piece...and you remove it and pound it out straight....it may not fit when you go to reinstall it, and you'll need to re-drill to fudge the hole. Then the SOB will be rattling all the time. I use wedges to straighten them while still attached to the foot.
-
I've seen that happen more than once. I blame this whole anti-littering campaign. Wads of old line laying on the floor of every boat that comes in here. If your rigging a rod while standing in the middle of them it's real easy to grab the wrong end. Plus, when you are running down the lake those wads of line always find their way under the console.....and in Hotfoot equipped boats that is a serious safety issue. I had a wad of line in a jacket pocket once that caused me to have to overhaul a washing machine. 🙄
