It was Kelly Power who won so the fish must have been relatively shallow

Here is a good article https://www.bassmaster.com/conservation-news/news/to-fizz-or-not-to-fizz/

Easy explanation. Go swimming and swim to 10 ft deep. Your ears will tell you. Imagine being 50ft all day and then getting jerked up fast out of the water.

My opinion is we played great but coaching fell short. Drink is horrible at clock management. We had 2 timeouts left at before halftime with 45 secs left and we were content at 10-10. He then proceeded to yell at the refs for not calling a horse collar tackle and out of bounds to stop the clock on the first play but did not use a timeout. We should have tried to get a FG at least. Also we didn’t use a timeout in the 2nd half and that can’t happen. Need to use those in critical moments. Another note Schrader was running over everyone and we decided to throw that screen when we needed to hand the ball off. Drink is good but inexperienced. Burden being not 100% didn’t help either. We played them well but need to fix clock management and cut out turnovers and we are there

I will add to this. Not taking anything from these guys but I will not and refuse to fish the way most of these did. Video game was the way. My dad and I were fishing the island by point 1 both days had two guys pull up on us but way out in over 100ft plus both days scoping in the middle of the deepest part of the lake. I would hate to be a co angler. Could not have been fun. Fishing was tough for us but we did (my dad) had some good fish just not the numbers of fish like these guys reportedly were catching. Bite was dead slow for us on jigs and some top water fish we saw some blow up. I had the worst weekend I’ve ever had fishing here. Broke off 3 big fish and had several unbuttoned by the boat. In fact worst 2 days I’ve ever had on the rock. I got SKUNKED both days. Neve could get one in the boat. Hats off to those guys but I can’t fish that way.

I fished yesterday and today. Dam area all live scopers in the middle of the abyss. I could not fish like that all day. 2 boats were in 150+ ft of water scoping

How about lugging a big group 31 agm battery into 3 different battery suppliers that said they had the battery you called over the phone about to find out they didn’t have it once you go in the store. Had to wait until 8 AM the next morning for the other place to open when you had two days to fish when it was 100 degrees outside. It was a rough afternoon evening for me about a month ago. Plus the place that finally had it was the rudest business I’ve ever been too. Would have never bought it from them if it was not my only option. This was in the Branson area and I won’t mention names but will never ever go back there.

I picked one up and I still can’t figure out if you should chop it on the retrieve or slow glide to side with rod twitches. It seems like it sinks fast on the chop when I’m trying to keep it below the surface

We wore flip flops because I didn’t want my shoes soaked lol. It was about 53 and my feet were froze until the sun came out a little bit

Here is some fish pics and sorry to white out a few but this is literally a small spot we found that holds big SM year in and year out and not many people fish it.
-
The day to fish was Thursday. We got down there about 11 AM in the soaking rain. They were on fire. We caught over 60 and mostly SM and couple big LM. SM came on Ned gravel pockets/points. 2 LM about 5 lbs each came on mag draft on points as well. It was an awesome day. Friday about 25-30 fish but not were near the quantity. We had several SM in the 4 lb range and my dad lost a giant probably over 5 right at the boat when he jumped 3 feet out of the water. It was a great few days with my dad.
-
We had a tougher day than what we expected. Fished Baxter area and started off bang bang with the Ned rig on first location. Lots of fish were paired up on beds today all over the place. We tried gravel all over looking for smallmouth and it just did not happen. Had some big thumps on Ned in those like a smallmouth but they would spit it just as quick. Most came off ledges and mostly K’s with some LM mixed in. K’s were healthy as an ox. Nothing over 2.5 lbs today but we had fun. Probably had around 25 fish.

BBT - It's tournament week on Table Rock!
Alex Heitman replied to Big Bass Tour's topic in Table Rock Lake
Will be a crazy weekend. 350 boats for big bass tour and 250 for BFL. Was planning on coming but will most likely skip this weekend -
I meant long creek. I’m sure there is stain there so we’re going to give it a go tomorrow
-
Thanks Bill we thought there might be some stain making its way towards Kimberly g but found none. Would like the make it up the white tomorrow but will probably try king creek since it’s closer.
-
Fished from Indian to just past cow today. Only caught 7 all day with 5 keepers. They came on jerkbait and crawler. We were hoping to be rewarded for our efforts in the wind today and we thought they would really bite. Water was gin clear and did not feel like making a run to the stain in the white caps. Overall we were disappointed.

What a game. Up 17 and then down 6 and win on the road. Gholston has now hit 2 buzzer beaters this year. Lots of fouls called on us that game. They shot 33 FT to our 17. Mosley I guess is done. Didn’t travel with team. Still no idea what happened. Shane he was a good player. This team is up and down but they can beat anyone.
-
Does anyone have any insight why he hasn’t played the last two games? He has sparked this team since coming back but hardly any sign of him last two games. Seems like an internal issue but man he can play. Maybe it’s bad attitude but this has really hurt the team last two games.

Anybody know where these are located now?
Alex Heitman replied to snagged in outlet 3's topic in Upper Lake Taneycomo
Don’t every try a crawler tipped with corn. It never never works 😉 -
I watched it in between patients the last few days. Plain and simple the best bite was bedding fish. If they didn’t find the right areas they were toast. The guys at the top either had them located before or knew where they we’re coming into

Kim City - April 27 - Swimbait and underspin
Alex Heitman replied to Dock-in-it's topic in Table Rock Lake
That’s a tank! Great fish -
Thanks I agree but this was the case of too much wind. Especially for my dads back riding across the lake in 3-4 footers. Not that big of deal for a young guy like me but it takes a toll on him.
