Put in at Aldrich 0730 and fished til noon. To say the water was muddy would be an understatement. Zero visibility and zero whites for us. Saw a lot of people, hopefully they fared better than us. Did manage to catch this old girl on a jerkbait and kinda save the day. Put her back to fight another day. The lake is low, as you can see the water line in the background.

Maclin will provide a deep threat for the chiefs. Unfortuantely the Oline can't block anybody long enough for him to get there. They have got to find some Oline help either thru free agency or the draft. as good as Maclin is, he isn't the solution to the chiefs WR woes all by himself. They really need another quality wr to put on the other side of the field. They have a bunch of draft picks, and could probably find a way to move up and land Amari Cooper, but at what cost? Those picks they have to give up may be 2 0r 3 lineman that they can't afford to miss out on. Then there is Dorial...oh lord. The second I heard they were signing Maclin it made me think they were going after DGB. He and maclin already have a relationship from the recruitment of DGB to Mizzou. Maclin was adopted at a young age into a football family just like DGB. You couldn't draw up a better mentor for Dorial. we will see what happens I guess. I am still a firm believer that defense wins in Kansas City. And SS Landon Collins from Bama would probably be my ideal first pick for the chiefs.

I don't think Kim is going anywhere just yet. Alden is retiring and I doubt he wants to deal with the mess of hiring a new coach. Now if next year is this bad, the new AD may want to hire his own guy.

everybody looks at the head and the spinner, but IMO it's all about that fluke. Toss it down there on any head you want, it's an automatic top 5 hall of famer.

At 6 fish for 27 casts, that's 1 fish about every 4.5 casts. I'd say thats a fisherman's dream. I have a request. At least the super bowl was a good game. Seahawks are taking a lot of heat for that last play call, but I really don't have a problem with it. yeah they have Lynch, and a time out, but at least they put the ball in their best players hands to win or lose. Just a great play by the defense. Alden is out at Mizzou. I guess he did a pretty good job. Actually, Pinkle is probably his saving grace, because he really screwed up the basketball side of things for the most part. No idea who will replace him, but it seems like a pretty good job to have. And speaking of bball....well at least they covered the 17 point spread against Kentucky at home. Should have beaten Ark. National signing day is Wed. Heard they put on quite the show for the Beckner kid the other night. Rumor has it they are the favorite to land him. If so he'll be the 2nd five star recruit Pinkle has ever landed. Lets hope he's nothing like the first one....

I saw a mock draft a couple weeks ago that projected him in the first 20 picks of round one. Who knows, but I bet someone rolls the dice on him early. I watched a 30 for 30 the other night about a kid that got kicked out of Notre Dame, kicked out of Florida State and played 2 years at Marshall. His name was Randy Moss...just goes to show you that you never know.

Great win for the tigers! Mauk was his typical self, good at times and ugly at times. The kid has some moxie about him though. It will be interesting to see if Eddie Printz or the incoming freshman golden boy Drew Lock can give him a run for his money next year.
