go to the other side of the dam.you can fish right next to the dam.you will need a big basket to pull big fish straight up.i made one out of a metal laundry basket cart you see at a laundrymat.you also need one if your on top of the dam or fishing off the bridge down at caplinger

i think it was 12ft.i traded a chainsaw for it and made a base for a seat that just set above the top of the boat.i took the back seat cushion out of the car and the seat backs folded down flat and the boat slid in all the way against the front seats.That was the best little cheap boat i ever had.I was on the Lamar city lake or muddy creek every day i wasnt working.I sold that boat for $150 without the battery and no title.Then i moved to Stockton and got bigger and better boats but theres times i wish i still had that one.

i think if its compressed before its uploaded to the server it would give us that right click option

Might try to compress it(zip or rar) and then try to load it,then when someone clicks on it they should have the option to open or save it.It might work

just went and checked the spots I mentioned above and the only ice i saw was thin sheets around OT marina...the ramps are clear and my boat is locked in no more...WHOO-HOO

I agree that is a nice mullet.I was gonna post a pic of my mullet cause it was pretty funny lookin.But what is really funny is if you get on google images and look up mullet,there is a pic of JoeD.Looks like a young Billy Ray Cyrus.I think i will keep mine to myself now.

It didnt happen this time either.Went to the river below stockton dam yesterday and saw this guy rooting around.

Went to the first boat ramp and swim beach and was froze way out.There is about a 2 foot spot of water between the shore and the ice.Saw some dead shad and something else so i got my pick and broke the ice and it was a cleaned crappie.Dont know how long its been there and i didnt see any holes in the ice.Alot of big rocks on top of the ice where people have tried to break it.Went to the second swim beach and it was froze way out.There is a trail by the second swim beach that goes to the water and the rock quarry and there is no ice. Went to Orleans Trail Public Use Area and it was open.There was alot of slush and chunks sloshing around at the bank but there were some guys there getting ready to put in. Went to the marina and broke some holes.I threw my 20lb anchor about 30 times.Was able to get a hole with my pick and then bashed it with the anchor.Ice was 3-4 and 5-6in.I got me 3 holes im gonna try tomorrow.Ill have my chainsaw next time.

Thats what ive been waiting to see all winter.I have to break some ice now.

I lived in lamar and had spots where i found morels on the marmaton river north of that big morel.Used to find a bunch up at four rivers at Rich Hill.

I think it was nevada.Had a big morel on the highway.I didnt see much on the website either.I was bummed out after checking the website.

was i the only one?couldnt get on last night or this morning.I viewed New content and there were no posts from 8:32pm to 10:05am on my end.I was able to go everywhere except the forums.Did i screw something up,or did everyone go fishing and just not want to tell me?

My uncle used to own alot of carwashs on troost,prospect,paseo.He would go get the money out of the machines and his brother would sit in the car with the gun and keep watch.I like how you can drive down 71 to get downtown and they put stoplights on the highway and make you stop in the nicest part of town so you can look around at all the niceness.We would work downtown and be pulling all the equipment back home and get stuck in traffic around 63 or meyers blvd and hear the gunshots.I will run the redlights just so im not the first car by the crosswalks.My girlfriends oldest boy is moving from stockton down to the plaza tonight and i have warned him.I hope he waits till daylight to drive down through there.

I bought one and used it a couple of times and only had one bite.I saw a fish floating at the marina and it was a catfish that the turtles had ate on and there was an a-rig hooked in its mouth.went back to the boat and got a pole and hooked a rotten cat and got a free rig.It must have got snagged under the dock and they cut the line.If i had a decent fishfinder i would throw it more.I might buy the mini a-rig for crappie.

I have their sides off and thrown back in the water and the big carp and cats and turtles tear them to pieces before they know what hit-em.When i turn the water on at the fish cleaning station all the fish and turtles are there waiting for their dinner.

I saw that about a month ago and it said it was a sacred lake and it is fished one day a year.I dont think that mud would settle in a year.I think i saw a guy in a white suit holding a mountain dew bottle.If i was that hungry i would be looting everyones hut for food while everyone was at the lake.

I got my basket made and been working out to keep my basket thrusting muscles in shape

not me.pontoon is stuck in ice..to depressing.its starting to look better though
