  1. Its all about small little adjustments with the pedal, Ive had mine about a year and it just takes time playing with it. I put the noise reject on high TVG off in less than 30ft and then adjust the color gain. I set mine to see a lot of "fuzz" instead of being perfectly clear like all the you tube videos, once you learn what your seeing you can see through all the artifact
  2. Ill tell you what it doesnt do. It doesnt guarantee you will catch them!! They were thick today but only one short crappie and one short bass even dropping minnows on them. It was neat watching a jerkbait on the way back to the boat. Had lots of lookers but no takers. You can tell if you jerkbait is suspended level or not with it. Bridgeport 45-46 degree up Flat creek 40 degree
  3. If im not working i will make it this year. No clue what March will be like, if this vaccine works ill be busy watching people sleep again
  4. It took 20 last weekend and second had 19. Its pretty good. You wont have a problem launching if the water is high. People find a way, they have been doing it for years. Parking the truck is usually more of an issue. Unless it pours the night before the tournament and yo run up a creek you probably wont find any dirty water .
  5. https://www.reedssports.com/garmin-echomap-uhd-93sv-w-gt54uhd-tm-trans-010-02342-01-753759241643 $599
  6. I have used the Garmin Force i a buddies boat and never had any issue with it losing connection. I would suggest wiring it in running out of foot pedal batteries sucks. IT happened with my old motorguide numerous times. I have 3 Garmin head units and Livescope, to link the all together all you need is a GMS 10 network hub (PART NUMBER 010-00351-00) and Ethernet cables. I would call Russell Marine. I know they have bundle packages right now. I worked with them a couple times and they are all knowledgeable about everything. And they ship extremely fast i had my livescope and i ordered the Force troller for my buddy and it showed up in under 24hrs, not sure how that was even possible
  7. They acquired Navionics so im pretty sure they are using their mapping. I have always been happy with my old navionics chip in older graphs that ive had
  8. The mapping is different, 93 is what you want for inland lakes
  9. https://www.westmarine.com/buy/garmin--echomap-uhd-93sv-chartplotter-fishfinder-combo-with-gt54-transducer-and-lakev-g3-charts--19822808 West Marine has them for $649
  10. Its with the new UHD transducer
  11. Hell, i had them last Christmas. Had one that got almost an inch long.......It was all for my little boy though!
  12. nope, not in real river, I drive up the James a lot but when im in shallow water i dont care so much about electronics
  13. They all are really good, the Birds Mega imaging is pretty good stuff. Lowrance just came out with their Live Active Target which looks to be basically like Garmin's Livescope, and ive seen teasers for Humminbirds version of it too. Make me think Garmin probably has something bigger and better they are going to release soon
  14. Right now for $599 you can get the 93UHD. I dont think you can get a better graph for the money
  15. They are just ahead of everybody. Lowrance and Humminbird are just now coming out with a Livescope system to compete with what Gamin has had for 5 years. Ive had all 3 of the big names and switched all the way over this year to Garmin.
  16. Yep switched everything over
  17. Humminbird 1197cx SI Combo works great, It has a lot of stuff that came with it that i never even used, I just used the Transom transducer and the GPS puck and they worked great. Comes with an extra XNT 9 DI T(RD) transducer, 2 power wired, some type of Y cable, speedometer, Transducer shield, and lots of other random little things.I thought i would go ahead and put this on here, however i am out of town until the 15th $500
  18. Ive never used a camera,it would be neat though. The last few times i have been i have caught some giant bluegill mixed in with the crappie. Next time ill probably keep some of them. they are pretty thick
  19. Thanks, Also Phil looking at your Garmin the voltage is reading 9.1. Mine was reading between 9 and 10.5 with my boats stock wiring. I ran some new 10 gauge wire and am getting 12.1 now and it made my livescope much clearer than before.
  20. Ive been thinking about going there soon since its a little closer than Big Creek. Is there anywhere to buy minnows close?
  21. You must not have your boat back yet!!!
  22. Actually i think the one my dad is holding we found floating dead and netted it
  23. All these were caught out of my bot while trolling on upper Bull Shoals
  24. Fish, i havent posted much on here about Bull because i kinda quit going with all the high water the last couple years. I always enjoy your posts and reports
