Just picked up the original Panoptix PS21 for pretty cheap. Does anyone have any experience with it? Looking for some pointers to get started. From what ive read it seem like its pretty much plug and play

When i sold my boat, i offered to do one in front of the buyer. And i wouldnt want to buy a boat if they told me i couldnt do a check. Ive had two different sellers that were perfectly fine with it. It also depends on the motor in question. If the plugs are really easy access its no problem. My brother got a 4 stroke a few years back and he went to do a compression check and the plugs were buried under all kinds of crap and it was going to be more work that it was worth.

fishing is rapidly changing
aarchdale@coresleep.com replied to merc1997 Bo's topic in Table Rock Lake
We fished the USA Bassin championship on Sat and Sunday out of Mill creek. Saturday we caught them on mainly jigs up the James pretty good. Then Saturday with all the fog we couldnt go to far so we stopped at a spot my buddy found them schooling a week earlier and we flat went to town catching them on top water over 175ft. All three species mixed in. We had a limit real quick and decided to go back up the James and look for a big one on a jig. Caught lots of shorts but they werent biting it like they were the day before. Over all it was really tough for most everybody, very few limits brought in either day. We had a little over 12lbs the first day and a little under 12lbs the second day. Just enough to take the win -
HAHA the trailer bunk guy....thats good stuff

I would start simple and check each hole for spark. I tested mine with one of these https://www.walmart.com/ip/LHCER-Car-Spark-Plug-Adjustable-Ignition-System-Coil-Tester-Detector-Auto-Diagnostic-Tool-Ignition-Coil-Tester-Ignition-Spark-Tester/361541625?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=15391&adid=22222222227309524551&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=387541974370&wl4=pla-823458502060&wl5=9023418&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=118771473&wl11=online&wl12=361541625&veh=sem&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIpveI8vOu5QIVlR-tBh1Imgk3EAQYBSABEgK8pPD_BwE All mine were getting spark but on one of the cylinders the light was very faint, ended up just being a coil. Very simple and cheap way to test

Haha thats true, i am actually at work right now. Although when im off im usually up at this time too

I found out my girlfriend was pregnant and the next week i went and bought a bass boat. Best decision i ever made. Probably wouldnt have ever got one if i didnt do it when i did

Im sure Fishinwrench will chime in soon. May need a little more info on what engine it is though. You can have all the fuel in the world but without spark it wont do you any good. I had a coil go out on an outboard a couple years ago and it would run low RPM's like that but wuldnt go because it was wasnt getting fire in one cylinder

Fall Weather Morning/Afternoon Bite?
aarchdale@coresleep.com replied to Seth Clarkson's topic in Table Rock Lake
I had a pretty good jig bite Sunday. Bluffy stuff on the channel. Ive been throwing a 3/4 ounce. Brown seemed to be the best for us -
Im tired of the whole "growing the sport". The lakes are busy enough as it is.

Poor FLW guys went from PRO to Triple A overnight. It says they are making them 6 day events, Keep fish in the livewell the first couple days, then switch to catch and release with a official in the boat the last few days.

I catch a few yellow perch every year in upper Bull but never in TR -
It seemed to be better on Wednesday for me as far as numbers. The quality bite ive been having wasnt there. Did catch a couple nice Walleye and a 9.89 channel cat on a spoon

Dam Area and Kings 9-20 to 9-22

Im convinced that the least utilized area, fisherman or pleasure boaters has to be between Hideaway Marina and Piney Creek. I made may way from Cape Fair to Kimberling a lot of times this year and that little section always seems lonely -

You could very possibly be the only Bass fisherman in the Ozarks that isnt sponsored by Lews. As soon as i got my first Lews reel i got a hat and im pretty sure that means im sponsored now I always laugh when i meet people and tell them i fish a lot, they always have a buddy that is sponsored.....every dang time -
I was fishing around the fish house one day and a homeade plane landed right there in front of me. It looked like something you would see on Mad Max. totally open cockpit, you could see the controls and everything. The guy had an old school flight looking helmet with goggles

Table Rock Jellyfish
aarchdale@coresleep.com replied to aarchdale@coresleep.com's topic in Table Rock Lake
Ive been tangled up more times than i can count, braided line makes it even worse. We started carrying shears, they cut the line easiest and if you shoot a channel you can snip off his pokers so he doesnt try to get revenge. We totally gave up on diving a long long time ago on Table Rock, just to many idiots that dont know what a dive flag is. -

When we always used to spearfish Bull, In the summer when there is a Thermocline set up we wouldnt see much under it. Usually would get quite a few Walleye right in it though -

My brother and i kinda took a break from diving the last 4 years since we bot had kids. But next summer we plan on getting back to it, he already got a dive boat and i got a new camera. Hope to have some good footage next summer.. I think a lot of bass guys would like to see how bass set up in brush piles, and i think it would be fun to get some videos of different lures underwater -

Probably would need a light that deep. Ive only been down to 70' in the lakes and you could still see but it does get dark. Not much to see that deep in the lakes. -
Found an old harddrive in my attic and it had all my brothers old diving videos on it. Keep in mind this is in 2006 on a old waterproof camera. Quality is pretty poor, but this is definitely in Table Rock. The size of the Jelly was about as big as a half dollar. Ive never seen one diving but my dad said he has seen plenty back in the 80's when he used to dive a lot. I had to upload it to YouTube because of the file type
