  1. Soo i will adress the elephant in the room. Are they for Sale?
  2. Ill be in the Cape area tomorrow too probably in Flat Creek and maybe go further up the James to find some clearer water
  3. As much as they bragged about being locals you would think know, i also noticed they didnt show all the fish in the bag makes me wonder if they had a couple shorties in there
  4. Sounded like Dion thinks spots only have to be 12"
  5. We caught a couple eating size last year trolling cranks around Beaver Creek
  6. IF you go down the road towards Aunts Creek there is a little station down there that you cant miss It has a big sign that says LIVE BAIT. Not sure the name of it but it might be worth a shot
  7. My Power wire for my trolling motor was laying over the transducer cable and power wire for my fishfinder and everytime i touched the troller it would mess up. I just isolated all the cables and it works perfect. Hope yours is as simple as mine was. I have read lot of tricks of people adding grounds and stuff but i never had to go that far
  8. HAHA well played. Bass Pro makes it sound fancy though
  9. Someone asked on Facebook and he said it was a Bass Pro Nitro Flash spoon
  10. Nice, looks like it will be a smooth ride, how does it run?
  11. Should be back on Monday. What boat did you go with
  12. Its gotta be somthing with the transducer, I have an extra that will fit that model you can try. I had some issues with my bird doing that when i got my boat and the transducer wire had a splice. There are like 5 different little wires inside the transducer cable. I got it patched up and it worked perfect. Now it sits comfortably in a cabinet
  13. Rules state feeder creeks and the mouths are restricted in the tournaments. I did see a few boats in the tournament in some creeks at times.
  14. Im out of town now but i will measure when i get home next week. I looked at those seats too. They look like they are almost exact replacements.
  15. I paid $250 to get the passenger and driver seats done and i took out the middle seat and built a nice step. The middle seat /step you will find worthless on that boat and a trip hazard when folded down using as a step. I can dig up the name of the guy who did mine he is in the Springfield area. I will say he was in no hurry though and took about 3 months but they turned out nice. I looked at buying new seats and from tracker they want close to $600
  16. I have the same boat in an 08 and had to get the seats recovered this year. The stitching rots in these real bad. You will like the boat a lot.
  17. Turkey Hunt in morning, find Morels on your way out of the woods, and then fill the boat with crappie. 3 of the best things about spring. YUMMMM
  18. It was all in good fun, I met up with Watson yesterday and he couldnt believe all the people that didnt realize he was just joking around and having fun. One of the nicest guys you will could ever meet. After meeting up with him yesterday i can assure you i will never have to buy another, jig, any plastic, or spinnerbaits for about 20 years. He hooked me up with so much nice stuff. Most of which is still in a package and new
  19. I listened to an interview with Zona and everytime he is asked a question he jumps around off topic and then asks 3 new questions. He is really hard to follow. No sure who is more annoying Zona or Mercer.
  20. Wow!!!! those arent little crank bait hooks either, those are the real deal
  21. Most tournament trails still allow a-rigs. I believe this one does as well.
  22. Sent you a PM Quill
  23. I was down pass the landing and i actually saw trout chasing shad on the surface right next to might boat. I saw them doing this multiple times, My graph showed a big ball of shad and lots of streaks through them. I have never seen that on Taney. In fact i feel like I rarely see any fish on the graphs there.
  24. I put in downstream at Scotty's it was clear. Lots of current makes it tough. I backed in and let the motor warm up just to make sure it didnt die right when i got off the trailer. The current would have you pushed into the dock before you knew what hit ya
  25. Thanks Phil, gonna run around a little bit before the Masters Tournament. Do you think the high water will affect the number of boats?
