That is the major league fishing ‘cup’ events. This tournament is a bass pro shops tour event. They are run differently from each other. Think of the bass pro tournaments more like a normal tournament; only every fish counts. They are fished on lakes known ahead of time to the anglers and they get practice days ahead of time The major league fishing cup events are on supposedly unkown lakes and run in periods like what you are used to seeing on tv. It is easy to understand and follow once you realize to look at them as 2 different tournament trails. It would really help if people wouldn’t call the ‘bass pro shops tour’ a major league fishing event. Then there would be more of an understanding this isn’t the normal major league fishing.

Well this sucks!!!!! Brand new camper ended up having issues so bad we had to come home yesterday. What time we did get to spend on the water was fun and hopefully we get back next year and everything goes good. Thanks again for all you guys help!!

We ended up sleeping in as we were both tired from the trip so we didn’t get out until noon. Got off the water at 5:30. Did some running around looking at the lake so didn’t fish the whole time. We did catch 18 fish with 4 keepers. Most all were smallies with 1 small spot and 2 small largemouths. Nothing big; 2 1/2 was biggest. Caught most on the Ned with a couple on jerkbaits and swimbait. We didn’t really do any looking for beds but did not see any when we did get real shallow.Our best spot was in a really small cove on a secondary point.

We ate at 178 club tonight and it was very good! We didn’t get here early enough to get on the lake but will tomorrow.

We are staying in the white river state park below the dam. We wanted full hookups for the camper and the wife really liked that park. We have small lakes up here so can’t really run the boat so I am sure we will cover some ground to see the lake and run the boat some. LOL

Any tips to point us in the right direction to get started would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for the offer!

Wife and I are coming to Bull Shoals for 2 weeks starting Friday. If you see this boat swing by and say hello. We have been going to Table Rock but it is getting so crowded with all the tournaments and pleasure boats we decided to try Bull this year. Hopefully we can figure out Bull and catch some bass. No worries though about the bass as we are strictly catch and release and are just fun fishing so a pic and right back in. We are not big trout fishers but we did hire a guide to take us out for something different. Hopefully it will be a good time. Anyway if you see us out and about say hi.

I searched ebay and found them; $27.99 each and it says 4 available.

Have to watch on internet now for the live viewing. They will have shows on tv later in the year. Just like any BASS or FLW tournament.

I really like the MLF format! Most fishermen don't tournament fish; they go out wanting to catch a lot of fish and hopefully catch a big one or two. The MLF format is what most people can relate to=fishing; not just trying to get 5 big bites in 8 hours of fishing. To me the MLF format shows who the best fishermen are; the ones who can figure out how to catch a bunch of fish instead of who gets lucky enough to get 5 big bites.

I measured the shaft and unfortunately it is the 45” so it is shorter than you are wanting.

I will try to remember to measure shaft length tomorrow and let you know. What would you consider a fair price considering it was only used a few times one year? If you are not in a hurry we will get to Kansas City this summer for a couple royals games.

I have a 80lb that was only on my boat for a year so is basically like new. I would have to measure it as I am not sure if it is 48" or 52". Only problem is I am in Nebraska.
