The Suk Bug.
Interestingly, the ones I have are salted. Not like a Zinkerz, but about like a TRD.
It works. Caught a bunch on it up in Fisher. Haven't seen it as a better option yet, but it might be in a particular situation.
Companies keep trying to reinvent the wheel with Ned baits.
I have. I still hate it.
I blame BPS. When I was about eight years old, one of the first things I bought from the first BPS catalog we had ever seen was a 50ct of BPS Squirmin' Shads. Never got near a fish with one. 😂
Kind of dig bigger swimbaits. The Storm lead inside baits and some of the big hard swimmers and wakers.
Hoping it mellows if people ever have to return to real life. But I'm unconvinced that's going to happen.
Hate to say it, but I'm shopping other ponds.
No question it makes some baits and techniques unfishable, but a lot of things work just fine in it. The fish aren't going to leave a good place because of it.
I grew up fishing every green thing you can imagine living in water, so I mostly just shrug off the mess.
1/32 or 1/16 ounce heads help 😉.
This entire thread is why I just bought a used Tour 109, and a new Tour 109, but base model. No transducer, spot lock, etc. Just a plain old cable steer motor.
