That boat will be fine anywhere. Do learn to read the navigation buoys and lights so you can find/stay in the channel. Basic thing to remember is keep the red on your right when going upstream.

I've spent many hours on the Missouri in the dark running to islands to set up decoys. 18.5 x 60 semi vee with 50 HP Yamaha Pro. Spent a lot more hours day and night setting and running throw lines for flatheads. Never once feared for my life. Killed a lot of ducks and geese and a metric ton of good catfish. Lived in Jefferson City and it was 15 minutes from my house to the ramp. Now when it gets big chunks of ice in it - no thanks.

My uncle had a Great Dane named Kaiser. He was better than fair at catching the MC guys cruising the park across the street.

I saw drone racing on TV the other day while waiting for an oil change. I've also seen people win real money playing video games. What has our world come to. It's all not real. None of it. I feel sorry for our children and grandchildren. At least most of them. We need to keep our kids in touch with the real world. Somehow, some way.

Anything can be abused. Drones seem to have unusually high potential for misuse. Have yet to see one near my place, but I am well out in the sticks.

I don't have a bass boat. But I do have a boat that I will fish the White in anything short of life threatening. Everybody that's coming with me has a heads up to bring jerkbait gear.

Cast iron is good stuff - the older kind with machined interior. The newer stuff is too rough to ever develop any kind of coating that will help keep food from sticking to it. Even so, I bought the oldest grandson a five quart Lodge dutch oven and a trivet he can use in it to keep a roast up off the bottom. His Birthday is the day after Thanksgiving and he will be here.
