You guys who've been paying attention to my posts have read something along the lines of everything is everywhere. It's true. But that doesn't excuse looking away from obvious sources of pollutants that affect everything on the planet. Just because you're alive and not on your back kicking like a turtle trying to turn over doesn't mean there are not real problems that we could deal with better than we are. But we don't because we as a nation revere $$$ more than our kids and grandkids. It should not be so.
That's part of it. Another part is there are more of us than ever and still growing. Still another part is this country is more concerned about cheap energy and products than our children's future.
I cross the middle Finley every day. It's been up a bit but mostly clear for the last two weeks. I'd expect similar conditions on the James from Springfield Lake on down.
I for one don't care if some 12 year old Vietnamese kid eats a few trout that MDC raised. So far as I'm concerned that's a better use of the fish than feeding raccoons.
You don't want a list of the things people do that I do not like.
It's lengthy. The good thing is most of those things only mildly irritate me.
I blame most of it on USMC from a long time ago. They will make a person picky.
Oh hell, now I got to go fishing with a stud. If I got to I guess I can. But it will now have to be summertime. Some day when you're not putting up hay or doing some other muscle building that helps you run over people on the football field.
I got a good rubber snake story. It involves getting three niece/nephews to scream on a rubber snake loaded boat seat, their dad making them fess up, telling them how silly that was and then screaming himself about twenty minutes later on the same snake in the same seat.
I'm in with maybe one or two guests. Will let you know when I know about the guests. But I'm firm and so is my boat. Bad part is I don't have any food to bring. Heard the wolf at the door just a few minutes ago....
OK down to one possible guest. The other one is going to be at St. Lucia. His bad luck.
