    This is the pale imitation of the real thing that I have been fishing with. This particular jig head and little piece of elaztech has only caught something like 50 or so fish, mostly smallmouth a few goggleye. Sorry about that Ham, Chief and Al, they are goggleye to this old hillbilly. Actually probably mostly sorry to Dave. No disrespect, really looking forward to some even better jig heads.

    I'll be there, Bob will be there and another buddy is dragging up too. I'm bringing Venison meat loaf. Bob is going to bring some more of that wild pig and some garlic bread. Jason is bringing some ducks and some deer steaks. Les, a sucker fry is never a bad idea, my vote on that one is an enthusiastic you bet! Bob and I are going to be there probably mid day Friday, we can do the meat loaf for Friday night if that sounds OK, then Saturday night look out.

    Start carrying some of those hot handz hand warmers in your pockets. They last 12 to 18 hours and the difference they make in hand comfort is incredible. I think they are something like $5.00 for a 12 pack at Walmart. Well worth it.

    You know I'm an orthopedic train wreck, and a connoisseur of pain and its various remedies. Cortisone is a miracle drug for inflammation. Just not too often. Can you find any strengthening exercises for the condition? That is your long term solution.

    We're cat people too. Agate and Willow, littermates adopted from the shelter a little over a year ago. They're a blast.

    Have I mentioned that I also hunt groundhogs with terriers? For real, no joke with shovels and everything. Dogs wearing high dollar locater collars so we can tell exactly where they are in the earth. Deepest hole I ever dug? A measured 10'6". With help.
