I marinate a couple of hours in soy sauce, brown sugar, fresh ginger and fresh garlic. Then grilled over hot coals like a fine steak.

It was only four blown fuses on the truck, a bad LED light, one failed connection and a bad ground on the other light. Child's play. -

I get along better without a float whether jig or bait. When I do use a float it needs to barely keep above water. -

Of all the things I miss, I think waterfowling is the most. Loved staying at the granddad's house in Carrolton and hunting GP for a week at a time. Go get it while you can guys, it won't last forever.🙂

I've been pulling trailers for 50 years now. Maybe three of them free of any trailer light problems. There has to be a better way. I'm thinking battery operated LED lights with RF controller and no more wires or bulbs . -
I'd rather work on trailer lights than sit in a hot tub on a cold day. Dang those things can be a PIA. I need a beer.

Smoked Gouda pimento cheese on toasted beer bread with a side of the last of the green tomatoes that I started pickling early last week. They are snappy and they are good. Will bring a jar to jigfest! I had seconds on the pickled green tomatoes. They make me look for a beer!

I'm enjoying deer hunting now too, but feeling a little bummed about the one lost this morning. Second one ever in my life.

The houses we stay in are fully furnished so you don't need anything special there. This jigfest, so bring a couple of light or ultralight spinning rods with 2, 4 or 6 lb mono or whatever premium line you prefer tor throwing light weight baits. Your box of trout jigs. Jerkbaits are provisionally allowed. So bring that stuff too if you want. You'll have a great time, guaranteed.

For several good reasons, I'm looking forward to this jigfest a lot. Really looking forward to seeing you all again and sharing some good times.

That's the way you do it. Great time to be fishing for certain. -
Any good egg dinner roll recipe, rolled out and then cinnamon and sugar, curled back up cooled and sliced into rolls before baking. I like the craisins idea. Pecans in the middle are pretty special too. Butter and powdered sugar blended smooth frosting applied warm but not hot. You gave me a great memory of what it was like in my grandmother's kitchen, lo, those many years ago.🙂
