  6. I drive a truck all over the country and every time I get a chance I stop at places that sell tackle. its really cool to go to cabelas in Minnesota for example and find entire end caps full of rapala ice jigs for example in every color available instead of s couple hooks in the middle of an isle. The problem with this is now I gotta haul all this around with me knowing it will be a while before I can put it to use
  7. Great catch and glad boat double was mininal
  8. This has been an extremely rough week for my family and I On Monday my dad passed away after a long struggle. He is defiantly in a better place now. Have spent the last couple of days making arrangements and all that has to be done. So little brother is in town and we thought we would sneak out tomorrow afternoon and spend a little time on the water in rememberance of our first and best fishing buddy. I know the day will be special no matter what but would sure like to catch a few. Not particular about what but would like to make it special if anybody might want to share suggestions on where to start I would be eternally grateful and certainly return the favor someday... Thanks in advance and say a prayer for our family
  9. Like the new format and thanks

  11. I've got a lowe aluminum 20 ft long 7 ft wide side console with a 4 stroke Mercury 115 and it is probably the best fishing boat I've ever owned... LOTS of room to move around in and doesn't do real bad in rough water. My only complaint is the lack of storage but gonna fix that as soon as I find a good fab shop that works with aluminum. Just my 2 cents
  12. I for 1 really appreciate any info you guys are willing to post. I spend a lot of time reading this forum because as a truck driver this is as close as I can usually get to being on the water. Hopefully that will change one day but for now gotta roll. I really enjoy living vicariously thru you guys who are able to spend a lot of time on the water and just wanted to say thanks
