Nothing pisses me off more ! https://www.facebook.com/share/p/zYsXbwYvgeV4WKWh/?mibextid=WC7FNe

Ive never seen him criticized on here !? Maybe other locals are mad off forum for “ giving away “ too much ? Who knows.
-
Apparently it’s one of the great mystery’s on the forum .
-
I’ve been catching them for three weeks now off the beds. Last week there were shad starting to spawn . Also caught some post spawners that were schooling on shad . Senko had been good . Dixie jet thrown to the schoolers was working . Also small swimbait and top water.

Here’s some data 8 keepers so far this morning 7 live scope fish . 1 non live scope fish . The later was 4lbs and the biggest of the day so far . 🤔
-
Day two of the first no live scope tournament trail . They’re fishing like real men again ! Nothing fancy about it , non stop heart pounding action . Glad someone finally stepped up and gave us what we wanted …
-
Put in there last weekend. It’s just fine

He banned me 🤣

I agree . Everyone wants to focus and predict some epic demise . I think the number and size of fish in the lake is at a high point since the LMBV kill . Yesterday we had 15 lbs and knew we were not even close to cashing. Did have a 4lb mean mouth which was our big . Pretty fish to say the least. Couple of table rock largemouth pictured from last week.

Today in the Anglers in Action tournament a team weighed in just over 30lbs with there best 5. Pretty amazing !

You said “ snot nosed gamer kids” and wrench called it gay as hell … so that’s where that came from .
-
I think you have lost it . Before live sonar no one ever tried to target the biggest fish possible . What a joke . You guys are really reaching for a reason to hate this . But I’ll keep catching 5 pounders with my snotty nose using my gay techniques . You guys can keep complaining on the internet . What a life.
-
I don’t really see how you took that from my post . But whatever .
-
The only thing crushing his dreams are the other LOZ guys on tour hammering them consistently. There’s a ton of very talented anglers up there . If you’re not good enough on that lake to compete locally then you better not even try to go bigger.
-
I think they already have on some of the lures . Look at Berkeley. Their new lineup of baits this season are all FFS drop baits . But then again Sixth sense is having zero problems selling the new hangover.
-
Yes I did make a harness with the same gauge wire as the sea clear . I do suggest this also .
-
Yeah I’m running at 12.4 also . Also I’m using a everstart deep cell $110 battery and it does everything I need . I usually have mine set in 70 ft out . I’m also running the older FFS transducer.
-
To some extent yes . But there’s just so much of it out there . In my experience it’s so thick in places the SI kind of jumbles together . But I’m not running graphs that are anywhere near as capable as they can be .

It does not take away the need for knowledge of bass migration and movements . It still takes skill to make them bite and to present the lure to them. It’s very very difficult to let a 3/8 ounce jig head sink and intersect a fish swimming 50 ft down . The timing , boat movement , wind , line size . So many different variables just to get it in front of one . Some days that fish will attack with reckless abandon . Many more days he knows somehow that this little minnow is indeed not living . And that’s just a damiki example . Traditional techniques pair nicely with FFS . These techniques are never going away. Example: Pair FFS with crashing a rock crawler . You’re not going to use it like you would in the suspended fish application . But you can still see activity . You see targets to crash the crank into . Occasionally you may pick one off that you see . But it really helps just finding the right things. I don’t really think it’s helped me catch more big fish . These big table rock fish are far more educated than we give them credit for . And their eyesight is completely remarkable . I feel like Ive learned how the bigger fish move and feed at least in the pre spawn . And only this year. And only on one section of lake . Every year is different. And every area of the lake fishes different .This year I watched a group of large bass swim 6 ft down over 100 ft . They moved from 6ft to 40 ft in about 20 seconds . Then after they went down they came right back up and swam up on top of a point in 10 ft of water . What’s fascinating is just watching fish movement and the way they interact with forage and one another . The bigger ones seem to hunt in packs , they roam and they investigate everything that catches there eye . And that’s just one species . The three all act different . Spots have been the least nomadic. Before when I pictured fish migration it would be in a straight line swimming from here to there . They have no rhyme or reason for what they do. A lot of the time its completely random . They go left right up down back wards and straight at you all in a minute. I’ve seen them feeding along side loons in something right out of National Geographic . I understand the worry that it’s somehow going to adversely effect fishing . But I’m telling you there are so so so many fish in this lake . And only a small percentage of those are suspended where you can even see them . Table Rock is an absolute forest . There are sycamore trees out in 100 ft of water that are topping out 20 ft down . They are monsters with limbs extending 50 ft off of them . Cedars that are so thick you can’t even get a lure into them . Ledges and bluffs . Caves and cracks in under water cliffs. There are so many places that hold huge groups of fish that will never be seen on a unit . Like Dock said the area that these fish inhabit is exponential . From 2 ft of water to out over 200ft of water . And everything thing and every piece of cover in between .

How many of you guys actually have the equipment ? Y’all are so sure that it’s the end all be all . Have you put a little time in with it? All the talk of pelagic fish and how this is going to ruin everything . We didn’t even know they were all out there until a year ago. It reminds me of trout fishing. When you can see suspended fish and watch how they react to your different presentations . There are days when a fish runs from a lure as soon as it hits the water . 30 ft down they see it hit the surface and are gone . Other times they will rush it from 30-50ft . This time of year is optimum for FFS . The fish are slower and less likely to move too fast . There are a lot of fish suspended over deep water this time of year. This unit isn’t limited to fishing deep either . You can’t always see the fish especially if they are relating to cover or the bottom . What you can see is the cover and make an accurate cast into it . It’s fun to see a brush pile that looked like it was empty explode into 20 3 pounders . It’s eye opening . All of this being said . I want everyone to just fish the way they want . Where does anyone get the right to tell another angler how to fish . If you like fishing with a tenkara rod and catching micro fish , that’s cool . If you like stabbing them in the back with a spear , go for it . If you like catching suspended bass with live scope and 6 lb line right on.

Looks like march 7th - 27th

I deleted it because I made a mistake even bothering with you . But here we are still .

Yes my policy was written for tournament fishing. My policy writer is a tournament angler . I’m covered . You don’t jump to conclusions though . You can call it injecting reality. I call it shooting someone down . Which is exactly what you were trying to do . Probably sitting over your old Dell computer just drooling I give you a response . Glad I was your example for people who are going to go down that path . You saved so many lives today . You know what I would tell someone who has a passion for fishing of any kind . Follow it . It never has hindered me one second . It gave me something to work towards growing up. I was on the lake more times than you could imagine. Hell I skipped school , and begged and bartered for way to get on the water . You know what I didn’t do wrench . I didn’t drink. I didn’t do drugs . I didn’t knock anyone up . I spent countless hours in a boat with my father . Memories that I’ll keep with me forever . I fished tournaments with him for years. We won a few times but that didn’t matter . I have more stories than I could ever tell about those times . But oh lord don’t go down that path of darkness. How about this . Lift people up .
