  3. That is great, That is one technique that I have yet to get into, going to have to look into it one day and give it a shot. Need about a week down at the lake and really work on it to learn a bit, I imagine it is a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing.

  5. Very nice fish Quill, nice and Chunky!!
  6. You did the right thing by not saying anything, It wouldn't have done any good. best thing to do is just stay clear of it. Figure how many times you have been down this year and how many times they have been down. You win hands down!! You will be back, they most probably will not. Have a great day Mike
  7. I am confused as why some of the guys on this forum do not fish in the pro circuits, I reckon it's the money & associated cost.
  8. I new you would come around!!
  9. You disappointed me Champ. I was about to say" they are all sold out " Champ bought the whole lot, stock, & barrel..!!
  10. You guys must be retired. way to go, glad you had a great time
  11. That is fantastic, nothing better than a top water bite. Congrats on a superb weekend of fishing.
  12. That's funny Quiiback, Oh how we waited for the Spring months & now we can't wait for fall, A fisherman has to have his priorities you know!! Yes sir, I bet your son Dave, had quite a time. I'm sure he is hooked for life!!
  13. May not have been worth taking pictures but just being out there I'm sure was great. Good to here you got some of them!!
  14. Thanks Cody,I appreciate the info, I am planning on purchasing the set up this weekend, it may be a bit before I can send some pics, but will when I get to it, Thanks again
  15. Cody, are those the cool white colors you have for lighting in your boat, and do you have the set on a dimmer also? Been trying to figure out which would be the best color for lighting and not bothering my eyes when I use them at night. I am leaning strongly to the Blue Water set up, I never thought of mounting the black lights above the rub rail on my Champion, I really like that Idea, thanks for that tip. Was wandering if you went and cut your rail for your front running lights, seems that is a must or did you do the same as your black light set up and put them just above the rub rail. Thanks for the Tips!!
  16. Definitely a nice day of fishing, congrats to all of you
  17. sorry to hear about your predicament, Stay strong and keep up the fight & Good Luck!!
  18. may I ask where did you get the light package from Rick, I would like to get a bit more info about it, Thanks, Steve
  19. The 96 Champion Elite that I have came with the Stan Sloan black light package, I plan on upgrading to the LED in the future. Good luck
  20. I would definitely use a black light, a lot of times you will just see your line twitch or move in a inconsistent manner & not feel a thing, one thing I have always noticed is the better fish are the ones that usually pick your bait up without you even knowing it, watch your line very closely and look for that small twitch or movement, reel up the slack and smoke him. Good luck!!
  21. Get out there at night with a spinner bait or just at sunrise.
  22. Way To go Hammer, I believe those fish were on due to that front approaching, that's the way to get them when they are on a feeding binge as I assume they were, great day and congrats!!
  23. Sounds fantastic Nick, that's the real deal hooking up with ole bucket mouth on a spinner bait in the middle of the night, gets my blood boiling just thinking about it. I had a man tell me once that fishing is good therapy, to me that is the place for it. Mind me asking what spinner baits & where, earlier in the spring I had some great spinner bait fishing in Mill Creek using black & purple. Great fishing on what sounds like a Great time!!!
  24. Nice fish Pepe!!
