  1. I didn't know about these. Thanks for posting this RPS.
  2. Nice looking rig's rogerdodger. Thanks for posting the pic.
  3. On second thought the key might have been the 1/32nd head in the cold water.
  4. Dang, Ned was whackin and stackin em! I like the sound of the green pumpkin/chartreuse head combo.
  5. Let the little rig conversation begin. Keep throwing the rig QB it will put em in the boat. Come on Spring!
  6. Great shot with the camera Danger.
  7. Nice catching. Good to know a little warm weather goes a long way to pull some fish up out of the deep.
  8. Nice to read some fish catching reports. Good job dd.
  9. Good report ducky. I would say mission accomplished. Looks like the crappie are starting to move up.
  10. Yes, Congrats Alex! By the looks of the weights, and all of the goose eggs to say the rock is tough right now is an understatement. Look forward to hearing from Alex on what pattern he put together.
  11. That a boy Quill, keep dragging that tube, until something changes. Good move on returning the wally to the lake.
  12. Don't hurt yourself chunking that A rig Bill. Have you tried the smaller versions with the shorter wires like the yumbrella jr? They are easier to throw, but I haven't fished them enough to know who effective they are.
  13. +1 on this.....For you guys near Rogers, Ar. I was at Hook Line & Sinker Monday, and they just received a shipment of spinbait 80's. A quick $ 40.00 later I walked out with 3 of them. They had quite a few, but they were going quick. Can't wait to see how the catching goes.
  14. I think Howell is telling the truth about the livingston lure in the Davy Hite interview. As has been said already, he seems to be a strait forward hard working country boy with a flat top haircut. He certainly put a hurtin on the fish and the rest of the field on the final day. The Go pro vid was very cool with all the people on the bridge and up on the bank cheering with every fish caught. Put yourself in Howell's shoes.....that would have been the ultimate adrenaline rush. What seemed very odd to me was the way E squared acted when Davy interviewed him on the ramp. He was reluctant to show his fish from the live well, or show the baits he was using and you could tell he just didn't really want to answer any of the questions. I suppose he was just upset that he knew he didn't have enough to win.
  15. Yea Mitch. Release the Kraken! This is a great thread.
  16. Good report Bill. The shad bodies on you rig look like larger swimming minnow's about 3 inches long?
  17. You had a good day QB. Based on the reports that are coming in the fishing is getting somewhat better, at least in the upper part of the lake. The K City are is tough right now, with all of the dying shad. Read Bill's post, he had a good day with the rig and a jig fishing 20 to 35'. What was your best depth?
  18. We had pelicans around the K city area of the lake last winter, but haven't seen any this year.
  19. Cool, thanks for posting.
  20. Don't feel like the lone ranger. Fished for a couple of hours yesterday, and about the same amount of time today in the Kimberling City area. No fish. It was good to get out of the house.
  21. I hear you on that thumbs. I have fished Ouachita some, it is a great lake. I would bet champ could put us on some fish.
  22. Thanks for taking the time to post a very good detailed report Bill. Good to hear you're catching a few.
  23. Good read Jerry. Based on that info the weight will be north of 70lbs, if conditions hold up, or if they improve.
  24. That is ridiculous bluebasser! You really put a whoopin on them. I gather by your coments that the lake you are fishing has a warm water discharge, which would mean spring like water temps. Those pic's are giving me a bad case of spring fever.
  25. Glad you caught a few. Looks like you were fishing some rip rap. How deep were you fishing? Thanks for showing us the spinbait will catch them. I can't wait to give them a go.
