  1. Way to figure it out Bo. Must keep an open mind and check deep and shallow and everything in between. Thanks for posting.
  2. I am curious, but have some ideas! Plastic jerk bait?
  3. Hope to hook up with a few of those larger fish you are referring too during this holiday weekend. How was the water color around the Indians? Haven't been over there in a while.
  4. Nice looking warts. Good luck finishing up Chiropractic school Alex.
  5. Fish are just scattered all over the place. Based on other reports the sticker has been the most consistent, with the crank, blade and jig getting the rest. Nice pic of the good LM.
  6. You two were awfully brave to stick it out all day. I don't know what it is about a constant rain, but I can't remember very many great days, it may just be mental for me. Gotta get some of that Harter House meat when you near Kimberling. I bet Champ was sick when the big brownie to come off! I stayed in and watched the HOGS hammer Ole Miss...WPS. Thanks for the report.
  7. Shouldn't put the boat up yet, fishing is just getting good. Sorry you didn't catch any, but I have had the ice in the guides deal many times and it's not much fun. With an air temp of 20 degrees being home in front of a fire sounds really good.
  8. Good fishing. That's a very nice 7 lb LM, looks like a SK red eye shad stuck in his face?
  9. Sounds like you had some good well deserved time away from fishing. Welcome back, look forward to getting your take on what is going on currently.
  10. I don't have a clue on your location pic. The fish almost looks like a goby, but the fins don't look right and to my knowledge there aren't any goby's in the Rock. Maybe a trout?
  11. Do what I do and just about everyone in my community dock. Buy enough 5 gallon gas cans a hose and your ready to go.
  12. I see some in the pic that will catch them. Good luck.
  13. Good looking fish. You were suppose to try out the new warts?
  14. +1. Go put them in the water QB.
  15. Looks like the 110, but can't get the color.
  16. Good looking fish. Thx for posting the pics and sharing how ya'll were working the sticker. How bout them HOGS. Whooo Pig Souee! Glad to see Mizzou get the win over T A & M also.
  17. Great catching Donna & Champ on a very tough day. The only good part about today was the cloud cover and wind. Glad to hear the sticker is working for you, as it's my hope we have a good jerk bite this winter. Look forward to hearing more details.
  18. The one day was good, but I am sure you wanted more. Sorry you didn't get to finish. Is that Pete Wenners with you in the photo?
  19. LOL: Champ, you and Quill are like a couple of kids in a candy store over the new wart colors. Of course if either of you start slaying them on the new ones, you will have the last laugh!
  20. Correct statement Bo. I covered tons of water today, numerous different locations and 7 hrs of fishing to catch 9 bass. The few that are up shallow are scattered everywhere.
  21. Good report Donna & James. Sounds like the blade bite was slow to pull out the jerk bait, but I like the idea. Good numbers total. I fished today from point 7 to point 8. Caught 9 total, with 5 good keepers of SM, LM and 1 K. The LM was my best fish at 3 lbs. Two of the SM were both very nice at 18 inches. Bite was better early up shallow with the square bill. Couldn't get bit on the blade, but did get a few on a 3/8 oz FB jig. Bluff ends and steep channel banks was the key.
  22. Welcome back Dave. Hope you had a successful football season. I remember the days of coaching youth football......about 15 yrs ago. I wouldn't have traded those days for anything.
  23. Where have you been Dave?
  24. Thanks Bo for taking the time to prepare such a detailed answer. Very good info. +1 on the dropshotting Champ, but I don't like leaf raking either.
  25. You are doing a better job of figuring them out than I have been lately. The jig pattern has been good to you. Are you following the proper depth contour off the bank to stay at a certain depth when you catch a few at that depth? If not that, is it just certain locations, points or banks that have the right rock or trees? Thanks.
