    When were you at Mayport Old Plug? I was stationed there from 87 until I got out in 90. We didn't have the opportunity to go for a ride, but all we had at the airfield then were helos.

    Branson airport is tower controlled, radar is at Springfield. Taney county doesn't have a tower.

    Had a great time this weekend. Thanks Phil and Marsha, the talk on Friday was very informative(big thanks to Steve also). And the dinner last night was awesome. That smoked salmon was the absolute best! Caught a few fish, nothing very big but a good time anyway. Will definitely be coming back!

    According to the MDC Site, all 3 of the parking lots are part of the conservation area. Looks like the stream access on the upper end is private though...     It was good meeting you all and even though I just caught 1 trout(and the token couple of chubs) it was still a Lot of fun! Should have stayed and fished with you on the way back down but I didn't want to keep bumming tippet from Buzz. Surprised there were any fish left in that hole, that couple took several out while I was fishing near them earlier. Thanks guys, had a great time!

    Warm and REALLY windy. Saw a couple but didn't shoot, gonna try to take a vacation day Thursday to go back out. Maybe wont have to spend half the time hanging on to the wildly swaying tree by then.
