  1. So your concern is only about yourself? Even though you may be a spreader.
  2. 🤣
  3. No one is confused, Ketchup. Just you. And a few radicalized Karens who like to throw tantrums in Wal-Marts and such. And a few others who are a little "slow". But I suppose that's why they call you Ketchup. 🤣 Remember this ad?
  4. I've got a 2 year old manic, attention starved Sullivan, MO bred 75 lb golden doodle that needs psycho therapy and who I wish would cross over and assimilate into the wild. Would a Wendy's Baconator chucked out at the truck stop do the trick? Or do I need bigger game?
  5. What a great picture of her with your boys. She looks like a sweet dog.
  6. This is cool. Mann's hat. Strung out on Coke, the intensity as if not sure if a possible world record. Flipping the bird with the right hand. Jig and worm. All the proper elements.
  7. A friend of mine breeds GSP's. He's had some champion dogs and is active in a lot of competitions. http://www.murphysgermanshorthairs.com
  8. Nice to see a whole bunch of Missouri lawmakers cut in line yesterday. Disgusting. As we rank 50th in the Nation in distributing the vaccine. What is wrong with these people? https://www.stltoday.com/lifestyles/health-med-fit/coronavirus/state-tightens-access-to-capital-city-vaccine-doses-after-missouri-lawmakers-jumped-line/article_23ac681a-168f-513a-94c3-59757695fe21.html?fbclid=IwAR3wUsn7apRqsPS4IMoTs3TFcwEGlzot4F-3Lu8s4zbDztw4LZ0BkjTlXCE
  9. Dominating performance. Chiefs have it all. Too many weapons. Bucs have to been at least a 10 point dog if not more.
  10. No, it was the pellet version. Smaller and more basic than what I could see in your photo. Still, once it got up to temperature, it was HOT. The back end was hotter than the front end, so you had to be attentive with the peel and keep it turned every 20 seconds or so. Delicious. Put the basil on AFTER it came out so it didn't crisp. I really want one for camping. Made the dough in advance in a bread machine at home. Ziploc'd it and put it in a cooler. Brought it slowly to room temp in a very low heat dutch oven before rolling it out on the gravel bar. Flour. Rolling pin. Perfecto.
  11. The Ooni ovens are the real deal. Cranked out some pizzas on the 11 point last fall that were as good as any restaurant. 90 seconds is right. super hot. Good dough, real buffalo mozzarella, good toppings. I want one of those ovens.
  12. Couple pictures. She is fixing the place up, put in a heated floor for starters.
  13. My sister just bought a cabin at Lindenlure that came up for sale by word of mouth. Went down to one of the floating docks there at the lake a couple weeks ago and couldn't believe how clear the water is. Drop a pebble in 15 feet of water and watch it fall all the way to the bottom.
  14. Good ole Ernest T Bass. . . . . loves to come in and throw rocks and then run off cackling and a giggling. 😆
  15. Totally agree, Bill. I have a younger brother for whom I am legal guardian that lives in a supported care home with 24/7 staff in Springfield. Very similar to a nursing home in that he has not been able to leave the home or have outside visitors come in to the home since last March. State law mandates this. As you know, these types of facilities were supposed to be first in line to receive the vaccine. So far, at least the home that my brother is in, has yet to have been "partnered" with a CVS to receive the vaccine. I've been in communication with the directors that are in charge of several of the homes. They are not getting ANY word back on what the timeline to receive the vaccine will be. What the heck is going on?
  16. Whatcha got there Ness? Love me some KC Mexican almost as much as the BBQ.
  17. Naw, this was before I found peyote and mescaline.
  18. Just noticed that. 🤪I think the original photo had the red-eye and this had been touched up with an ink pen.
  19. Taneycomo night fishing slaughter, probably 1979. Me, my brother, and Paul Dallas. I think we were way above our limits. This might have been while fishing directly from the powerhouse dock at Powersite dam. We used to hike up from the park there on the south side of the pothole and go up and over the dam, through the fence that had been pulled back and fish right there.
  20. I won the big fish Trophy at Camp Arrowhead back in 1984. Stupid rules were that the fish had to be caught out of the lake. Well, I fudged the truth a little and said my fish came out of the lake, when in fact it was an 18 smallmouth I caught out of the creek. I thought it was a bigger accomplishment than any old lake fish, so I ran with it. Crazy thing is, I don't think the lake has any smallmouth in it, but no one questioned me.
  21. Looks like one of those old fishing docks near downtown Branson. Used to fish from those quite a lot.
  22. I hear you. But the strain that have been there have adapted and thrived in that watershed. Stockers might alter that gene pool, no? would be interesting to see what is there now and compare to pre flood populations. cheers!
  23. Might want to learn this skill. Important to your success, especially tailwater fishing. My guess is one of 4 things or all 4 in combination: 1) fishing without an indicator makes this type of fishing tough to detect strikes, unless you learn czech style nymphing, but that takes some practice 2) not getting a drag free drift 3) not getting deep enough, (enough lead?) 4) too heavy of tippet
  24. The flood that hit the North Fork in 2017 was more than just a massive flood. It was BIBLICAL. A 1000 year flood. I floated a good chunk of it just a week before that flood and it still is hard to wrap my head around the Hwy CC bridge being taken out the way it was. The devastation up and down the river is still very evident as I have been there at least 3 or 4 times since. A couple of things: -- there were many floods of much, much lesser impact than the 2017 event that would allow stripers to get above the dam even before its removal. I believe this happened almost every spring after a good soaker, no? -- the # of springs that feed that river are considerable in size. I really doubt that water temp has been affected all that greatly due to loss of shade cover, but that would be interesting to learn. -- the river will repair itself soon and the aquatic insect base will rebound quickly, I would think, but I'm no expert. -- I would like to NOT see it stocked with rainbows. It was a great wild trout fishery before the flood.
  25. I’ve had that Five Farms stuff a couple times. It’s pricey, but so much better than Baileys.
