Launched at State Park around 5:45, a lot of boats launching and waiting to launch, looked like a holiday weekend. I threw a whopper plopper and did not do any good on top water. I threw a split shot rig with green pumpkin fish doctor, smoke red flake Yum worm rigged texas style, jig and swim bait. I sat the boat in 30 to 35 feet of water and fished the old bank line. Caught most on the split shot rig and a few on the Yum worm. The only way I could get bit was fishing the split shot rig and worm very slow, some would really hit the split shot rig really hard. The bite really slowed after the sun got up good. Off the water by 10:00, water temp was 68. Ended the day with 12, only 2 keepers both smallies, and I did catch 1 goggleye.
