I worked up in Newport Rhode island for a guy that bought old houses, apartments, and refurbished them and rents them out. He had a brownstone house in Boston. It had a basement like this one. The weird part about it was that it connected under ground with the other basements of the rest of the row house but covered what seemed like blocks on both sides and across the street. All lit by tiny incandescent bulbs in each of the basements when folks were down there.
I'm a big Pink Floyd fan and have so many well liked Pink Floyd songs, Like "If" from Atom Heart Mother and "Wish you were here" Also don't mind hearing Seamus the dog barking in the background either .
Favorite charades song title ever - Several Species of Small furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict
I'm not. I used to live in Columbia, but now actually live in Maryland. Have family, i.e., kids, living in MO and KS so plan to be back that way a few times per year.
Really like that Ozark bass. I have only fished the Finley once and that was this last summer when we were back in MO.
Only had about 30 mins to fish, but caught a couple of green sunfish and an Ozark bass on a John Deere microjig under a float. Fished below the dam in Ozark MO.
Very true. I have been in the boat a couple of times during Jigfest when we boated over a 100. Also trout are typically stocked at a larger size. So most fish are likely to be over 12" on the White and in Taney.
I have only one documented day where I caught 104 fish. Now I catch and count about everything on my line and was not specifically targeting bass. I caught 24 bass that day (7 LMB and 17 SMB) and only 6 of those were >12 " in length or 25%. so to catch 80 keepers you might have to cull >100 to 150 smaller fish. Again I was not targeting bass only. Also I have no claims to being an expert bass fisherman. So it's possible, but you have a be in great water and have a great pattern(s) to routinely expect that kind of success.
As inconceivable @thewhitesnoop claims of catching 80+ and 100+ smallmouth over 12 or 15 inches in a day between him and his buddies, he offers @Seth a trip to show him their next level fishing techniques. The two meet early at the boat access of river X. @Seth has brought a couple of his rods and a full tackle bag for the trip. @thewhitesnoop says he won't need any of that gear. They head upstream to a nondescript pool of the river and begin a slight drift. @thewhitesnoop reaches into a bag at his feet pulls out a stick of dynamite, lights it and tosses it into the water.. about 25 fish float to the surface and @thewhitesnoop nets those that appear to be 12 inches or larger. He measures those around 12 inch mark and all that appear to be greater than 18 inches. The largest fish was 18 12/16". @Seth is stunned and before he can react to their first catch @thewhitesnoop hands him a lit stick of dynamite and asks @Seth if he going to just hold it or fish!
