  1. I think that he will have to clarify. It might be a question about the rumor that hospitals were being paid to report COVID cases and deaths in the US that incentivized inflating the numbers.

    What's Cooking?

Who would have thought, but we made something with the leftover crab in the fridge . Actually it was the four live crabs in our crisper drawer that showed up Friday afternoon. We steamed the crabs and made a soup with milk, heavy cream, crab meat, JO's seasoning, S&P, and a packet of Knorr's hollandaise sauce mix. Brought to a boil and reduced to a simmer. The sauce mix thickens up the soup and adds a bit of lemon flavor. We have a winner in this one. Only tweak that I might do next time is maybe add a little sherry. Had a ham and swiss panini sandwich with the soup.
  3. What a great Dessert!! Nice smallie!
  4. In Missouri.
  5. A 39 inch minnow. Just missed the 40 inch mark. We landed five that day with two over 40 "
  6. Now its big enough to be visible to my old eyes 😅. Now we have at least two frogs that we see on a regular basis.
  7. Musky, grass pickerel, and chain pickerel are the only Esox species that I have caught.
  8. Don't waste fishing time to get rid of them. Take care of them on the way home or at home.
  9. Now you're rubbing it in .
  10. Very cool. Looks like she has had no worse for wear since she was caught last time. A testament to good handling.
  11. It's possible that those are goldeye hitting the surface. I haven't been around them enough to know their habits.
  12. Pretty pike buddy! Still on my bucket list.
  13. @FishnDave Killing me with those goldeye. Cool fish. Getting me motivated to hit you up on one of my next trips to MO. Besides you may owe me one .

    What's Cooking?

Tonight hand made burgers with swiss cheese, onion, dill pickles, ketchup, homemade mayonnaise. Served with a side of homemade cole slaw.
  15. My wife's cousin had a similar experience when bear hunting in PA. He saw a bear standing broadside about 200 yds away. He shot the bear but looked away. Looked back and the bear was still standing there. Figured that he missed shot again and it dropped. He went over and found two dead bears. He knew the warden pretty well and called him to the scene. The warden recognized that taking the second bear was a mistake. However legally he had to take both bears. He did call a day or two later and offered her cousin a confiscated bear.
  16. That's very funny as well Jeff!
  17. That's hilarious! Surprised that he doesn't have a Weird Al haircut.
  18. I hope that she was over 18 . Never watched any Speed Racer shows. More inclined to watch Space ghost, Johnny Quest, the Herculoids, etc. Of Course Scooby Doo. I was a minor so having a crush on Daphne was not an issue !
  19. I never had any issues with any agents that I have interacted with in MO. Here we meet the same guys almost weekly that we're going to be on a first name basis 🙄.
  20. This sounds like at least a decent consolation for dealing with the BS.
  21. The old possum on the Half-shell
  22. Congrats! Looks like a great time! Sure beats being at work.
  23. Thought that I have been seeing a squirrel that won't be in a squirrel slam. Today I had my best view and confirmed seeing the Delmarva fox squirrel. These guys are rare and protected. Think that I have seen three or four so far.
