Bone color KBG , main lake point with ledges, met my cousin back at the dock to get good pics, I dont use livescope when throwing glides, fish swam away with its back out of the water all the way out to by buoy then disappeared.

Livesay going for the 3 peat vs the young live scopers. There might be 10 anglers with 100+ pounds here. -
Quick report. Headed out Friday and Saturday. Most fish came on main lake points with wind, others around wood. Coming back down with my brother in 2 weeks and it should be good with the water temps cooling down.

It was fun Split. Thanks for going with me and showing me some good locations. Also can you tell my brother it is hard to see fish following the bait from the back of the boat!

Got down Thursday night right before sun down and noticed the water color. When was the last time the dam area was this dingy green? Friday night- Went out from 730-10. Started off on docks but that was not working. Switched to secondary points around the house and picked up 3-4 keeper LM with a couple shorts mixed in. All fish were caught around 5-10' on a Nutech Jig. Saturday morning- Went out from 615-2. Started off throwing topwater on main lake and secondary points. Saw a few chasing here and there but that was about it. After 2 hours of that I started going down the bank with a natural colored Chad Shad. No strikes or followers after an hour or so. Switched to a bone/yellowish color and started getting hit but Alot of short strikes. After a while around noon I Caught a decent 18" LM off a shallow tree. Then around 130 I pulled into the very back of a pocket where there is shelf rock. Saw a flash come out and hit the bait twice. Thought I had her pinned but she only had the back hook. She was head shaking below the surface and then jumped out of the water 10' infront of me and spit the bait. Got a good look at her and she was by far going to be my PB. I felt sick to my stomach. Saturday Night- Went out from 730-10. About the same as Friday night. Caught a few on the Nutech and Uncle caught a nice LM on a brown finesse worm right up in the flooded bushes. My brother and I will give it another go in a couple weeks when we come down to fish the Saturday nighter Moonshine derby and the Strike King Big Bass Sunday out of KC Marina.

Bill, talk to my brother (ABKeenan). We both have been throwing glides for the last year and have had some good days. Would be awesome to meet up sometime and throw KGB Glides.

Dam Area report from the 11/5-11/6 weekend- Fished in the Missouri Sports Hall Of Fame Tourney out of the State Park Saturday. The weather was perfect Table Rock conditions with stable winds and clouds. Started on main lake bluff ends and points and made my way back into the cove paralleling the bank. Then would move onto the next one. All my fish were caught from right on the bank to 5 fow. Caught alot of fish but the quality wasnt there to be in the money. Got out Sunday morning for a few hours before I headed back home but conditions were not the same. No wind and a blue bird sky. Tried to target ledge rock, shallow timber, docks, and shaded spots. Did decent again but not alot of size. All my fish were caught on glide baits and covering water was the name of the game. With Colder weather coming hopefully more fish move shallow.

I was down there last week. Its good to go

I fished the dam area docks first thing in the morning and had a few 2 lb spots on swimbaits. Then fished the Long Creek bluff walls with big worms, jigs and swimbaits and didnt catch a thing. Boaters everywhere by 930.
-
How many boats were in this last year?
-
Just signed up. Kind of goofy the way you pay a day or 2 after.
-
Quick turn around for the last derby of the year starting tomorrow!

Went out last Saturday morning from 630-10 and skunked on a jig and topwater around 86. Went back out at night time in Beardsley from 8-11 and caught a keep LM and SM on the Nutech jig. Bite was tough but ill be back down with my brother for the 4th to give it another go.

My uncle and I signed up last minute for the tourney and headed down Friday night. Started off the foggy Saturday morning on secondary points around the house throwing topwater and my uncle threw a wiggle wart. He caught a couple short Kentuckys and I got nothin. After an hour or so we moved closer to the main lake and I caught a nice 2lb smallie in the flooded bushes on an underspin keitech. Once the fog lifted we headed to Spring Branch for the rest of the day where I threw an A-Rig until my arm fell off and my uncle threw a keitech. We both skunked up that way. Started Sunday morning in Beardsley again throwing topwater around docks and only caught one small Kentucky so we ran up to the Long Creek/Cricket Creek area. I chucked a spinnerbait for hours but the fishing was still slow. My uncle caught a 3.46 LM on a stump using a zoom finesse worm which was good enough for a 5th place finish from the 1-2 hour. With only an hour left to fish we pulled up on a bluff wall and on my first cast I set the NuTech Finesse Jig on a 4.01 LM which was good enough for a 3rd place finish. Thank you Bo! I talked to the overall leader at the weigh in who said the winning 5.85 fish came on a jig in the Long Creek area. Thank you to the Big Bass Tour crew for another great weekend and I look forward to the Spring 2021 event. -
