Bird house(sleeps 20) near Tipton,KS that my buddy owns we gutted(all new wiring,plumbing, insulation,etc.)and rebuilt with all old local barns. Wainscot all around, Bunk beds, drink rails in the cleaning shed,etc. The kitchen we have an original wood burner stove/oven converted to propane. The best part is the dining room wall is the Whole barn door with hardware. It is amazing and I am proud to be the trim carpenter/ cabinet maker. Plus I get a key! The stone fence posts are another story.

All of the above and ice fishing gear. That includes sleds, shanties, boots, gloves etc. junk truck (new one does not go on ice-insurance) snowmobiles...

5 year old son limits you I think. Alaska when he is older, and can pay your way ! The Grand Canyon ,Mackinaw Island in Michigan,etc might be a better idea. Heck, White Rock Mountian in ARK. is great. Have fun, he will love anything you do together!

You forgot Mountain Lions that hide in wrenches picker bushes and steal shuttle cocks.

Cheap tins of cat food from the dollar store. Raw drumsticks work well. Leftover fried drumsticks also work and can feed you as well. Make sure you tag the traps. Don't be surprised if you lose some, lots of jerks out there.

It will only be elbow to elbow, not shoulder to shoulder. If the weather is bad I might sneak by on my way back from Arkansas trip. Its fun to watch the "pro's" strut around.

TrophyFishR I would pay for the Euro treatment. Or start your own beetle colony. I have waited sometimes for years for a skull mount to rot off. Keeping one in the tree is just asking for the squirrels / possums to chew it up. (Missouri) Northern MI the porky pines will eat anything you leave out, other critters notwithstanding. Plenty of great fishing in Michigan within a few hours of your new fish shack. Like Fog and Moguy said the Muskegon is a good one, another hour or so North you have the PM, Manistee,Platte etc. Also Croton Dam backwaters has great fishing if like Crappie, etc.

Going Trout fishing for the summer in Michigan tomorrow. The smallmouth and pike, etc. will get a chance. Most young men up in that neck of the woods do one of two things. Work and be productive or go to the Dr. and get proclaimed mentally ill and draw disability. I tell them that they can no longer own weapons etc., they don't care they want a free ride on the crazy train. Sad. But they will work for cash when it is convenient for them. Nobody really knows what is going on in somebody's head, if you believe that you are a fool.

Doctors today dispense anti- depressants and anxiety med like a pez candy toy. I get offered it every time I see my Dr. It has become a joke. Like most medical marijuana card holders. The truly needy get lost in the phony baloney. I have cut a sibling down, he was just a wasted doper that couldn't adjust to the real world. When I suffer anxiety I change my surroundings. Jackasses that have an excuse for everything causes anxiety in my case.
