Ketchup

My son had these plastic bowling pins that were about 8” tall. I found when i drilled a 1/4” hole towards the top, and filled 1/4 way with sand, those were perfect tree monkey sized targets.

Dang, i knew i left something out in that bio. Well, i do like to shoot with some V8 juice. “That’s ketchup in juice form i believe”.

Why trying to delete? nice trip.

Been known to dip my finger in a lil ketchup.

Hello, im Ketchup I’m a fishaholic. I like to fish for white bass, green bass, black bass. I also like to fish for other bass, as long as it has the word bass attached. i also have other hobbies like looking at bass, watching bass fishing, reading about bass, tying on bass lures, fishing in bass tournaments, and dreaming about bass. One day I aspire to be a good bass fisherman. oh yeah, my favorite food is ketchup. Ketchup on bass, ketchup on tacos, ketchup on pizza, ketchup in oatmeal, but my favorite is ketchup on ketchup. feels good to be here with you other bass and ketchup people.

Location will play as much a roll as bait selection. Remember the fish are moving out to their winter haunts, so if your current areas didn’t produce, try moving out to the next depth with the same baits.

Man have i been in that situation many times. Last sunday the better 1/2 and i were on some secluded public land. We got that and sat at our spot at 8:20. At 8:40 a doe ran by within 15’ of our tree, and 2 seconds later, as we were admiring her full run away from us, a beautiful buck ran right past, within 10’ of us. The gun was leaning against the tree still, and before i could get it shouldered, they were both out of sight in the brush.

Hey Daryk, Al fabbed up an old outboard throttle cable next to his console on his boat, ran it back to his transducer. He can adjust the tilt of the transducer while sitting at the console.

Great point. As expensive as they are, that would be another good reason to fab one up. The person who sticks a patent on it quick will be the next Bill Gates. The original guy has no interest in it.

Borrowed this from a post Al Rawlings made on the FB Lowrance page that he made to his boat. So many little reasons that this idea would be handy, from the differences from a full load of fuel to 1/4 tank, and from having a full tournament load, to fishing alone to get the best image possible. You can adjust the ducer on the fly at any time. awesome seeing a simple idea come to light that most of us would never even think of.

Lots of those types here, especially the sammich maker part. Come to think of it, that might be all their good for. 😜

Went out today as well. Fished from 8 til 2. Caught 2 short bass is all. Tried multiple lures, locations, retrieves, etc. I must have pissed off the fish gods recently, because the last 4 trips have been hell. water north of mile long bridge isn’t bad. Closer to dam it was pretty clear. Water temp was 56.9 early to 59.7 later. Fished a Ned for 2 hours. Got bit 4 times but no fish. We even trolled flickers for over an hour and nothing. im telling ya, i pissed those fish off. next weekend we have our 2 day tournament there so i hope my luck turns around. Going out early again tomorrow.
