  1. Great comment, but the guys i fish with/against take great care of their equipment and fish care. I understand thats not the case with 100% of derby anglers, but neither is it with any other hobby. Fish will die. Natural or not, they will die. Relocating fish for fun has the exact same effect on the fish as being in a tournament. Again im all for Bo doing it, but dont female doggy about one group doing it, without saying the same about the other. But we get it, hard to saysomething you disagree with if you like the guy.
  2. Bo, my comments on your thread are not made in haste. I was just commenting that you relocating those fish is what tournament anglers do. Nothing different, except a select few here speak of their loyalty against it, but yet those same select few say nothing about you doing the same. Pretty funny if you ask me. Im all for what your doing. I have done it outside of tourneys, and will continue. P.S. Theres always a chance of a fish being injured and dying during catch/transport/release. Its part of the game, even for those of us that take precautions.
  3. You missed the point MO. My point was thats what EVERY tournament angler does during every tournament, but those of us that fish them, and take great care of the fish "BTW my fish are all released alive and well after a tourney" are doing some dirty deed to the fishery. Come on, what Bo, or anyone else doing what he is, is zero difference than what myself, orevery other angler does. NOTHING. And what aarchdale is saying is, lets see those same Champ types jump his case like he has every other tourney guy on this site. Funny how when those that "used" to fish tourneys but quit when they started feeling sorry for the fish, and now the same spewing their snot here about something they used to do. Umm, thinking there is another reason they USED to fish tourneys, but quit.
  4. Thats funny. So hauling fish around and then releasing can be done in a more careful manner by Bo than all tourney anglers. Thats laughable.
  5. Not sure what to say, except that looks sweet. Guess i should look, but baits look pretty small so small hook? Bass, crappie rig?
  6. That says alot about you Mike, that you go to support your daughter. Nice.
  7. No daytime/weekday that im aware of. If you find any, keep us posted. BassPro has an employee only wednesday day once a month that ive fished a few times with a guy that works there, but that wont help ya.
  8. My best is at 33rd. So glad this junkfest is over.
  9. I keep fish often, and will say it on a public forum, that i later release because i didnt catch enough that i wanted to take the time to clean the few i had. Pretty sure if i was a betting man, that every soul that reads this comment has done so, that has any amount of years on the water. No harm no foul comes to mind. Never heard of a law saying i couldnt return a legal fish i kept in my livewell, back into the same body of water. If there is such a law, whos the buttwipe that came up with that crock of pig slop?
  10. Careful Bo, this will get those anti-tourney guys stirred up running fish around and then relocating.
  11. Nice outing. Stud muskie. Yea they usually show themselves close to the boat, just to laugh when my line breaks as they swim away with my lure.
  12. Cool target. need to check price as i would like to have one here also.
  13. Life has slowed so im game any saturday except the last Sat. of each month. But, i havent shot in ages so i better get to it if were doing this.
  14. Not so much the color on these baits, as its the near perfect action of the FS that catches fish. Ive trolled 4 rods in the boat, all with different colors and none outfished the other. Size of it does at times, help.
  15. Its a rock jig in these parts.
  16. Hey lmt, nice outing again, but i gotta say, the last picture of your other thread was much better. 😃
  17. Awww, Broke Back Party Cove.

    My wife

Thinking of you in this difficult time Gary.
  19. use my recirc. all day anytime the water temp gets into 80's during tourneys. 20 pound bag of ice keeps fish very happy.
  20. Or even a musky. Trout woulda been nice to see. Great job Steve.
  21. Man skeeter your making my trips feel like im struggling. Im usually able to only go 3 hours morning or evening unless its a tourney. Great to see you get a full day in. Try any topwater at all?
  22. Im going to get a few mapped areas together for ya and PM to you tomorrow as far as walleye go. Like MO. said sometimes searching out other species can save the day. Bass are about everywhere an angler can get a boat right now.
  23. Another good day. We went out yesterday from 5:30 pm to 8:30 and caught roughly 45 between 2 of us. Missed a nice fish after the 2nd jump. Most were in that 6 to 8 FOW verses shallow like the previous week. Caught roughly 6 smallies as usually. Headed to Pomme tomorrow as our tourney is there Sat.

Headed out this evening and will let ya know. Dont see things changing much right away as they need to feast to put weight back on.
  25. Great day and nice kicker. That picture makes me want to play hookie at work tomo The bottom baits are really catching fish lately.
