  1. Great job ab. Keep saying im going to fish this. Contacted 2 different buddies but neither were available.
  2. fishing Stockton?
  3. Stopped by BP today. They are sold out of the sale priced 93sv and will not be getting anymore. They said they discounted the 2017 models as the new ones have updated features, but the girl couldnt tell me what those features were.
  4. Sorry guys just came back by. Looks like he had set some cedar benches out for sale. He was open early tho. I will stop by tomo. and post on what he offers for bait.
  5. I went by there at 4:45 this morning and he was setting up outside tanks it looked like.
  6. He said he was fishing brush piles in 4 fow near Cape. Didnt think a RC liked brush piles? My bet would be he caught it on a live minnow. 😃
  7. if you dont have a meter to test, take them to any Walmart, autozone, etc. and they will test for free.
  8. Yes all lakes i have been to with it were there. I dont think a guy would be disappointed with any of the Garmins.
  9. your in the right areas. The fish your catching are most likely the males that are moving up first. The females that your after are still out on pre-spawn areas waiting for the right time to move up.
  10. good job changing it up. I dont fish for much other than bass anymore, but got into some huge whites on TR the past few years, and boy do i enjoy it.
  11. 5400 seems awful low. Look online at what that motor should be running, but im going to say go down a pitch. As stated the benefits of a JP are numerous, but not your only option. Probably your best, but not only. Several things to try. First you gotta have a starting point. Thats the prop to pad measurement. Then what RPM's that motor should be putting out, then after you figure those 2 out, then adjust motor height and prop pitch if necessary. Im sure one/both will fix most of your issues.
  12. cheeseburger eaters? I dont stop there. Then its a large custard from Andys. What prop is on the boat, and what are your WOT rpm's?
  13. Noticed driving thru Fair Play on 32/123 intersection a new bait shop opened up. Seen they had the doors opened this morning when i passed early. Just incase anyone needs it on this side of the lake.
  14. I use this and it works perfect.
  15. test it yet?
  16. Sold. Thanks Dave
  17. From a boat? You shouldnt have to go far to find fish. Start at the bank and fish out to that 14' range and narrow it down from there. Jerk, Ned, Crank shoukd all be worth throwing now. Soon the water will be spinnerbait friendly.
  18. Your right in wrenches well house with your motor and carb rebuilds.
  19. I have pictures of it posted in the Electronics thread if you want to see the clarity.
  20. I too had the Garmin 73sv that smalls21 installed on my boat. Man that Garmin was clear. Sold the boat. I was at BP last weekend looking at units, and liking the Garmin i had, my next will be the 93sv. If i had aarchdales money, i would go all out on dual Panoptic's at the console and bow. His money is greener than mine tho.
  21. Ive been doing pretty good except the last 2 outtings. Skunked both trips. Fished green pumpkin Ned for 45 minutes from bank to 12' and nothing. Wiggle wart 30 minutes, nothing. Same jerk ive been catching them on, nothing. Guess i need to stay home and do chores.
  22. I just walked in. Fished from 5 to 7:15 and not a sniff this evening. I guess i shoulda made my cows stand up before i left my place.
  23. Ol' wrench isnt a prick. He's just firm on his knowledge and convictions about the marine industry. Some of us take his jabs as him being nice.
  24. Keelshield is good. I was mentioning Aarchdales boat beached on a concrete ramp without one, in his profile picture.
  25. Well, digging thru some boxes yesterday, i located these reels that i had intended to send back. If your looking for new left hand reels, i have 2. $100 both or $50 each. Prefer in person sale. Anywhere between Bolivar and Branson.
