Well that 8" swi, bait is a goodun' at the right time. I dont use jigs much on Stockton, as it doesnt produce at most times of the year, like other baits i fish. If you head to stockton anytime soon, throw a 12" zoom trick worm with a 3/4 ounce barrel weight. Its deadly on the spots. A jerkbait will be ok this time of year also. 😀

water was good. Not sure on temp as i never took the cover off the units.

Put in at Masters at 5:15pm. Fished that area within sight of the ramp until 7. Caught 9 bass total, with 5 keepers. 3 smallies and the rest were LM. All on the same jerkbait as last weekend. 7 of the fish came within a 30 yard stretch. Another good outing. Tried a jig and crank with no love. The jerkbait bite was on again tho. I could have stayed and caught more but my hands were getting cold.

He blames that on his wife, but truth be known, he has a fine collection of that himself. Nothing wrong with a guy being in touch with his fem. side.

Academy has a 31 i believe on sale for $599 thats pretty sharp, but hoping to find a used one cheaper.

launched there several times the last 4 years and never paid a penny. According to a worker on that property 4 years ago, my yearly COE mirror tag is good enough. Never been told differently.

Good looking fish. Just to be clear, i was not asking to give ammo to myself or anyone else. Just asking if any of those you posted were of yourself. Your correct in that the looks of an individual has no impact on my thinking of them. I could care less personally. If your an avid fisherman "any species" then we will get along. Your comment about hooking a carp, or any other fish for that matter that fights hard, then we get a look at it, and it isnt our species of choice, my thought is always what you said, another dang drum. I do enjoy the fight of any fish, including those junk fish. Thznks for showing us some of your catches.

Mocarp. Im not picking here, but a serious question. Are any of the photos you have posted on this site of carp being caught, of you? Just curious what a die hard carp fisherman looks like VS us die hard bass guys.

And that last part of your statement is why you were warned about this hobby before your first purchase. Its an excellent, cheap "well thats a subjective word", fun hobby. I was hoping to have empty tins laying around, but other than 2, 177 tins empty, the 25 is close to empty. Man i need to shoot more. P.S. Whens the get-together? Jigs dont work on Stockton. Thats a TR bait. Better stick to 8" swimbaits up here.
