Ive got 3 Muddy Manifest 2 that i like. Day and night pictures are pretty good, and pictures come thru to my phone within 2 minutes of being taken. No complaints with these.

Anyone out with their strings after the gun season? Had planned to head out yesterday, but that wind would have sent me into the next county. Im headed to Stockton here shortly to try out the square bill bite, and may hit the deer stand tomorrow morning. One observation i wanted to mention. Last few years we have had lots of scrapes and rubs around here. I walked the same areas Sunday and did not see one single run or scrape anywhere. Also in years past we had several bucks showing up often, especially this time of year. Since i planted my food plot, all of that has changed. Kinda weird, but has me puzzled daily thinking how adding a food plot could alter so much. It has to be something totally different, right?

If she packs your bags for you, you know she isn’t worried. If you have to pack them then be concerned and watch your back. I still like the donkey idea long term.

That’s because it’s to tall at your age. You need the donkey. Shorter so less distance to fall. Well, renter moving out makes this situation all the better. You can move over there yourself, as everything in your shared house belongs to your wife. This way there are no cameras, no women, and just one lonely donkey that will keep you warm at night.

You know, reading your comments make me feel that the right thing for you to do is let your wife go live with your renter, put up a 10’ tall wood fence between your places, spray paint the camera lenses, lock the gate with just you having a key, and enjoy the rest of your life in peace. Get ya a new gun, buy ya that donkey, spend time down at the river, and not worry about those ladies.

You need to buy you a broke donkey, and name it “Snuggles”. This way when you are feeling like you are stranded because you don’t have a key to the car, you can saddle up Ol’ Snuggles, grab a Zebco fishing pole, and head down to the lake. Ol’ Snuggles would wait patiently for you, and if you attached the lead rope to your britches while you are fishing, and couldn’t get back up off the ground, Ol’ Snuggles can give you a tug to help ya up.

Awesome. When i was running dogs i would take a buddy 2 or 3 times early season to a preserve. He would do the shooting so i could focus on the dog. The more birds you put in front of her, the better she will be. Dogs care less if they are wild or pen raised. Great picture.

Just hold it a little high at 100. No need to waste more slugs. Wife might not let you buy more. You should take her hunting. With you having only one good arm, and her being hard of hearing, you could place the barrel on her shoulder to shoot. That would get ya back out there. If you use her as a pack goat, then you wouldn’t even have to carry the gun.

Launched out of Ruark at 2:30. Didn’t go more than 1/4 mile from the ramp as i only had 2 hours to fish. I had my mind made up i was going to throw a Berkley Stunna jerk bait in a few areas i hit this time of year. Caught 2 that were both 14” within the first 10 casts. Moved to a different bank where i seen the whites busting. Picked up an underspin with a 2.8 Keitech i had tied on and first cast a nice 16” white was in the boat. Caught 4 more pretty quick on that point. Moved around the point and cast into deeper water “8 foot” and before i could start cranking, this 20” walleye had gobbled it on the fall. Few more whites in the area, and this toad of a drum. 23” and pulled some drag. He was fun to catch. Lots of trailers at the ramp when i got there. Fun 2 hours out.

Had 2 hours today after helping the Mrs. get the Christmas decor out of the shop, so launched at Ruark on Stockton. Hadn’t been on that side in over 2 years. Caught a nice 20” walleye, so made it tonights dinner for her. Paired it with salad with some Southwest Ranch and rice. Simple and quick. Since I’m not a fish eater, i had my rice and salad with a Taco Bell burrito from 6 days ago. 😁

Deer/cow. Either way it’s meat on the table. Just tell the cattle owner you will butcher it and give him half.

Ride your goats to town. They need the exercise.
