  1. WHAT???? You mean that Bill Dance had help????? The sound you heard was the bursting of my bubble. I'm throwing away my dancin eels!!! Mike
  2. I understand that Point Randall Resort has widened their ramp. I think there is a small fee if you are not staying there. Mike
  3. Bobby, Nice and healthy looking. I'll be in the short main lake coves just outside of Indian Point towards point 5 on Saturday. I'm thinking that there are some nice size fish waiting for me in those coves. Mike
  4. Dave, I'll be out there tomorrow, please save me some. Mike
  5. Dave, thanks for the valuable information. Mike
  6. Split, A weak moment where I forgot they shocked that part of the lake and trucked all the fish out to the BPS aquarium in Springfield. Sorry my bad. Mike
  7. Michigan has a season for Bass. And they singled out Lake St. Clair and a couple of rivers. When I lived there I didn't realize it until I read the regulations. Of course sometimes the ice is still there in May but most years the lakes in the lower half of the state are soft water. Mike Largemouth & Smallmouth Bass: Catch-and-immediate-release on all waters: Open for Entire Year (2016 & 2017) Catch-and-keep on all waters, including Great Lakes: May 28 – December 31 (2016) & May 27 – December 31 (2017) Catch-and-keep on Lake St. Clair & St. Clair & Detroit Rivers: June 18 – December 31 (2016) & June 17 – December 31 (2017) Mike
  8. Water Aerobics class? Mike
  9. Nitro, They will look very good with cajun breading. Yum!! Mike
  10. Quill, well those 18 kept it interesting. Thanks for the report. I think I am staying below point 5 this weekend. Mike
  11. LD, you might want to fish down by the dam or Long Creek this weekend as most of the tournaments are above KC/Hwy 13. Mike
  12. Wrench, I sent you a PM. Mike
  13. Champ, I was wondering the same thing. You are correct about the fragile nature of the spawning process. If you ever see me post a picture of more than one fish at a time, you have my permission to call me out. Mike
  14. Dave, congratulations on the slam. Nice and healthy looking. Mike
  15. Welcome to the season. Mike
  16. Quill, thanks for the information. Good looking fish. Mike
  17. Nice report. Thanks for the information. That WP must have done the trick. Mike
  18. Chi0082, here is an article from MDC about 2016 fishing prospects. I'm not sure if it provides the exact sequence. http://fishing.mdc.mo.gov/reports/table-rock-lake Mike
  19. Wrench, thank you for the information. By the way, what are Friday's lottery numbers? lol Mike
  20. Champ, I went to the Wilson's Battle Ground and bought a Senior Pass.  It cost me a one time fee of $10 and it is good for life for 1/2 off all sorts of Federal programs.  I took my Senior Pass to the Dewey Short location by the TR dam and got my yearly COE pass that allows me to launch at COE ramps and use Moonshine beach without the daily fee.  And because I had the Senior Pass, I only had to pay 1/2 price for the annual pass ($15).  I went back and bought another one so I can have one for each of my vehicles.  Someone said that they will not enforce the pass at boat launches but I have not seen that written anywhere yet.  My pass is good till July 2016 so when I renew I guess I will find out if the price went up.

    Mike

  21. Ben, good luck with the COE. Sometimes it is easier to ask for forgiveness rather than permission. Mike
  22. Thanks. I'm just trying to see the WT trend prior to my May 11th trip there. Mike
  23. Good luck to all this weekend for the derby. Save a few for me when I get down there May 11th. Mike
  24. Jbrant, thank you for the report. Any idea what the WT was in Proctor? Mike
  25. Ben, I have it set up to receive the email when you post the new temps. A great service you are providing with valuable information. Thank you, Mike
