  1. I ordered 2 blanks from them 6 weeks ago and havent received them...i would order from mud hole.
  2. You looking for a pistol grip rod Ham?
  3. Use a wire brush on a drill to clean all battery connectors on engine...grounds and positives...son replaced his starter and it still didn't start right and i cleaned all the grounds and it fired right up...connectors get a white like coating of oxidation and lose connection...
  4. Merry Christmas!!
  5. I can put my 17'6" champ in some pretty tight quarters and move in and around trees and stumps with ease. My 190 champ isn't to bad to get around in but im not totally use to it as i'am my 176.
  6. I have passed a lot of 18 foot boats in rough water with my 17'6" champion...my 190 rides as good as a 20 footer if not better.
  7. To get fixed so i can fish next year....i have been more or less out of commission since October. Good luck to all...
  8. I don't have a wife but i do have 3 children and 11 grandkids, so what i do is go to bank and get cash and put 10 bucks in every grand childs card and split the rest up in the kids card.....i know im a big spender right.....but it totals out to 200 bucks and im on a fixed income. Now if oneshot was to buy my boat i would beable to give more....lol
  9. It's even got glitter in it which the women like...lol
  10. After looking at the color of Oneshot's truck it would almost be a perfect match color wise....lol
  11. I have a boat for sale but i see nothing i need, but that Dodge does need a boat behind it..
  12. As far as?...The whole back of boat is the transom where the motor hooks too....look for transducers mounted to transom to see if the was sealed or not. motor attaching bolts need to be sealed, there is a top strip angle aluminum piece on top of transom and under that is where the top cap and hull meet that needs to be sealed also. Look for brown or stained water marks on transom as this is a sign of rotted wood or if transom is wet it can be dried out and be fine......this is the same for any wood cored transom on a boat as all boats have there problems and as i stated before it's all in care of boat.
  13. I have 2 Champion Boats...one is 1989 17'6" and the other is 1995 19'...they are good boats as long as they are maintained and taken care of as with anything. Transoms are the thing too look at when buying, if they don't them sealed they well rot out as they are wood cored. I think there are one of the best riding bass boat out there and the front deck is a little narrower than most....over all they good boats. Go on Bass Boat central and check out the Champion thread... My 176 is for sale by the way.
  14. Nice Quill ..thanks for report!! Sure wish i could get out..been some pretty decent weather.
  15. Which tank the tank on the motor or the tank in the bilge area? If it's the tank on your motor it's the low oil sending unit.
  16. Thanks for the report Quill......Looks like a good day all around..... Wish i could get out but Doctors are screwing with me.....lol
  17. I'm here to tell you when Author visits your hands and fingers it is difficult to get your fingers to do what you want.
  18. A 15" fish is 4-5 years old from what i have read. I think it would help a lot to not have NO tournaments during spawn..but we all know that won't happen.
  19. I don't used the console for anything other than lake map and gps (been lost before...lol), the bow unit i use to find bottom or structure....
  20. I pulled the electronics off of my 176 and put on my 190, since the 73sv garmin was only couple months old and the helix 7 on bow was a year old.
  21. New to me back in August ..1995 19' Champion.. My 17'6" champion is for sale.
  22. Kind of hard to justify putting a 2500 dollar trolling motor on a 2500 dollar boat..
  23. I have been building on MHX rod blanks figured i would try something different..the Loomis rods are delta's and of coarse they will be spiral wrap design.
