  1. I know many others will no doubt chime in...I use a product called Tough Stuff, it is sold at Wallmart. It works well. One time years ago My kids left a red crayon in the front seat of my new truck, it was about 90 degrees that day, that thing melted into the cloth. I had to spray that stuff on and dab it off, several times, but it all came out. I have used it ever since.
  2. I only post my success😁 That way folks don't know that I struck out 28 times. It is easy to get goal oriented and miss the beauty.
  3. I have this one. Although it is a minimal charge, it does charge from the outboard. I don't know if it really helps or hurts. I guess I just feel like I am being more efficient. I can't tell you if it is worth the extra cabbage.
  4. To skin, we used to cut around the middle of the body, peel some skin back on each half, then pull the shirt off and the pants down at the same time, no hanging up at all. Then gut, wash, boil, de-bone, mix with a can of mushroom soup, pour over rice. Muskrat hind quarters are good too, but chicken is so easy. Thanks or the post, you got all of us thinking. 😀
  5. I am going to say when water temps get near 55 or so. I am not an avid crappie fisherman, but I have caught several. This guy knows all about Stockton winter crappie, he has also shot some great videos with G3 outdoors. https://www.youtube.com/user/HawkeyeProduction417/videos http://g3sportsman.com/how-to-target-winter-transition-crappie/

    Bluegill?

I keep the big ones too. I like to eat them. I have caught several fatties on TR while fishing for walleye. These were like 35 ft down in October, seemed like they were all big.
  7. Sometimes a danged old nightcrawler works well too. You are welcome, get well soon!
  8. One more...I have caught walleye on the edge of this transition at all different depths and on that flat. some sort of vertical jigging, spoon (Binks😀) lipless crank, swimbait, etc.
  9. I haven't fished in a while, try this.... this area is small but I have caught a ton of fish here. If you can stay on it there is a brush pile between the 1st and 2nd wake buoy from the west, there is usually fish there, it will be right where the rough water starts. (west wind today I think). Evening bass and even walleye is good near the ramp. When the light comes on get your finesse worm up on the bank right at the edge of the light, big fish will cruise up there grab some food and run back to the dark. Slower seem better with just a hop every so often. I think the south side of the ramp is better (left if standing on the ramp). Overcast day, no moon, west wind. It should be game on ! Good luck, God Bless.
  10. Are you in only a kayak?
  11. Yep what he said
  12. Dude, that's a heck of a seat in that thing !
  13. I hope that you are all right, I need all the fans I can get.😀 I am still waiting for bass pro to sponsor me. I would pick a spot on core land and go for it. I hear some folks even plant stuff on core land, in the woods, if they can do that camping on the bank shouldn't hurt. Last winter there was a box truck parked on the bank for at least two weeks, in sight of the dam, no one ran them off. That is not suspicious at all.
  14. here come old flat top
  15. Trolling cranks ? I am thinking of taking my grandson, thanks.
  16. Thanks, I had buyers remorse for about 5 minutes, which is really good for me.
  17. Nice !
  18. Went again today with my wife, hooked another good one, it got off at the boat. We had a great afternoon after church. We did not see the otters today. PB&J trick worm has been working well.
  19. I had a lake trip planned today, but my old truck decided it wanted some attention, worked on the poor old thing half the day. I did make it to the nearest water in the kayak. Leaves changing, kingfisher, otters, deer, beautiful ! I am digging this kayak thing. Oh, these are pics of the same fish, the other 15 or so were in the 10 to 12 inch range, this one is 3 to 4 lbs, and healthy looking.
  20. I am not sure about the one Bill has for sale, I don't think the salt water version has a pedal, I think it is fob only ??
  21. I have one I love it ! This is a good deal !
